Point-to-Multi-Point (PTMP) backhaul
– Hybrid Copper and Fiber
• All configurations above can be supported also in a PTMP
scenario where an aggregation unit, is used to collect the
data from multiple WiFi location within a cabinet serving area
in a specific neighborhood.
o For Symmetric application with G.SHDSL - ML2300,
ML230 or ML690E should be chosen based on the density
required
o For Asymmetric application with VDSL2, Any DSLAM can be
used.
o Fiber connected Small Cell or mobile base station can be also
aggregated through Actelis aggregation units.
• Actelis solution offer advanced QoS that can be effectively used
to differentiate and prioritize the traffic per type, class of service as well as provider - if the backhaul
pipe is used to aggregate traffic from multiple providers over the same bonded or fiber link
