<strong>ELD</strong> Lighting warrants all manufactured products to be free from material defects and defective workmanship<br />
during the specified warranty period. The warranty period is dependent on the individual product type as follows:-<br />
All Products - 3 years unless otherwise stated or excluded below<br />
<strong>ELD</strong> Lighting accepts no liability for costs incurred because of a product failure and all returns must be with prior<br />
consent / authorisation of <strong>ELD</strong> Lighting. At the discretion of <strong>ELD</strong> Lighting, faulty products that are returned in<br />
accordance with the terms of this warranty will be repaired or replaced and returned free of charge. All warranty<br />
claims must be logged and products returned to our customer service department complete with all parts in its<br />
original packaging (if possible) together with your invoice or proof of purchase and relevant paperwork within<br />
30 days of the manifestation of a perceived fault. <strong>ELD</strong> Lighting shall not be liable for any cost of removal or<br />
reinstallation pertaining to the defective product and such cost, if any, shall be borne exclusively by the purchaser.<br />
All claims for product damage must be reported to our Customer Service department within 72 hours of delivery<br />
and the delivery must be signed for “as damaged” on the Proof of Delivery. The warranty is offered exclusively to<br />
the original purchaser of the product and is subject to the correct installation, operation, testing and maintenance<br />
of the product in accordance with associated literature, current legislation and design intentions. The warranty<br />
period is based on a burning period of 4,000 hours per year and adequate records of operating/testing history<br />
must be kept available for inspection. Relative humidity, ambient temperature and ingress protection values must<br />
not be exceeded. The validity of this warranty may be affected if a customer account is trading outside our terms<br />
and conditions of sale. In no event shall <strong>ELD</strong> Lighting be liable for any loss of profits, business, revenue, anticipated<br />
savings, special indirect or consequential losses caused by a failed product, even if foreseeable by or in the<br />
contemplation of the company.<br />
Excluded from the warranty:<br />
• Wear parts such as standard lamps, fluorescent lamps or electronic circuits.<br />
• Plastics parts (e.g. Polycarbonate or Acrylic), stainless steel finishes to the extent they discolour, corrode or<br />
embrittle due to natural ageing process<br />
• Consumables (e.g. batteries of any type used in emergency products or remote controls).<br />
• Defects due to accidental damage, misuse, misapplication, storage damage, negligence and acts of God.<br />
• Warranty is void if any modifications to the product are made or warranty seals broken.<br />
<strong>ELD</strong> Lighting reserves the right to make the final decision on the validity of any claim.<br />
Statutory warranty<br />
Statutory warranty claims are unaffected by this warranty and shall apply independently and in parallel.<br />
