The One Millionth Cadillac
The one millionth Cadillac was a 1949 Coupe De Ville.
It rolled off the production line on November 25, 1949.
The One Millionth [Post-War] Cadillac
The one millionth Post-WW2 Cadillac was a 1956 Eldorado Biarritz.
In an ad published on May 28, 1956, it was asserted:

"This week Cadillac will produce its millionth car since 1945".
The Two Millionth Cadillac
The two millionth Cadillac was a 1958 Sedan De Ville.
It rolled off the production line on February 7, 1958.
The Two Millionth [Post-War] Cadillac
The two millionth post WW2 Cadillac was a 1963 sedan.
[who knows for sure what date it rolled off the production line?]
Believed to have been sold to a Dr. Whalens
[ it was his 28th Cadillac ! ]

The Two-Point-Five Millionth Cadillac
The two-point-five millionth Cadillac was a 1962 Series 62 coupe.
It rolled off the production line on August 23, 1961.
The Three Millionth Cadillac
Information received January 6, 1997 from young Cadillac enthusiast, Ruben Baeten
of Holland (aged 14) reveals that the 3 millionth Cadillac was built November 4, 1964
and was, presumably, a 1965 model; Ruben got the information from the book
on Cadillac by Peter Ruch (written in German).
Trivia: The missing image is available in one of many rare factory photo albums claimed to have been
found in a dumpster, in Michigan, and later offered for sale on e-Bay in 2002. I believe the CLC
Museum and Research Center was able to acquire some of these albums; sadly others have gone
into private collections and possibly may be lost for we poor researchers. In the same album is a photo
showing the 165,959th and last Cadillac to come off the line in 1964, the highest ever post-WW2 unit
production
The Two-Hundred Thousandth Cadillac in a Single Year
I thought this additional piece of information might interest
those who, like me, are keen on statistics. In 1967, for the first time,
Cadillac built more than 200,000 cars in a single year.

Trivia: Another similar photo to the above one, but showing the 250,000th Cadillac built in
one year [a 1969 Coupe de Ville] is included in a rare factory photo album claimed to have
been found in a dumpster, in Michigan, and later offered for sale on e-Bay in 2002. I
believe the CLC Museum and Research Center was able to acquire some of these
albums; sadly others have gone into private collections and possibly may be lost for we
poor researchers. A new post-WW2 unit production record.
have been found in a dumpster, in Michigan, and later offered for sale on e-Bay in 2002.
The Four Millionth Cadillac
The four millionth Cadillac was a 1969 Coupe De Ville.
It rolled off the production line on June 19, 1969.

The car in the foreground is the 1903 Cadillac runabout
belonging to the factory Museum. It is usually brought
out and photographed on these special occasions
CLC member Murray Mules about this car inquired on the club forum[2/2012]; he said the car was blue, with blue top and blue interior, and
that the original purchaeser was Lee Mannes of Claire Shores, MI:
answering Murray the same day, CLC member Ronald Campbell said he remembered the car well; to the best of his knowledge it car was later
traded in on an El Dorado;
Ronald said that Lee's son was a lifelong friend of his; they had met in Jr High
Trivia: In one of the rare factory photo albums claimed to have been found in a dumpster, in Michigan,
and later offered for sale on e-Bay in 2002, is a photo of De Ville model with the banner 238,745th, the
new record unit production figure
The Four Millionth [Post-War] Cadillac
The four millionth Post-WW2 Cadillac was a 1973 Coupe De Ville.
It rolled off the production line on October 12, 1972.
The Five Millionth Cadillac
The five millionth Cadillac was a blue & white 1973 hardtop Sedan De Ville.
It rolled off the production line on July 20, 1973. Another production record was
beaten this year with 242,330 units built in one year of which 40,412 Eldorados
[missing images]
Trivia: The missing images are available in one of many rare factory photo albums [this
one dated 1974] claimed to have been found in a dumpster, in Michigan, and later offered
for sale on e-Bay in 2002.
The Five Millionth [Post-War] Cadillac

The five millionth post-WW2 Cadillac was a 1976 Seville sedan.
It rolled off the production line on April 29, 1976.
middle is believed to be Cadillac boss, Bob Lund
The Six Millionth Cadillac
The Six Millionth [Post-War] Cadillac
Trivia: The last car to leave the former production facilities at Clark Avenue, Detroit, rolled off
the assembly line on December 18, 1987. According to the sign on its windshield it was:
#7,782,466.
In all probability Cadillac production now has exceeded the TEN MILLION mark, since 1902,
which represents a theoretical average of over 100,000 luxury cars built every year. Looking at
the production curves up to the late eighties, it may be assumed that Cadillac hit the ten million
mark in the early nineties.
It would have been fun to celebrate that milestone in Cadillac's 100th Anniversary year [2002]
but I guess they were not going to slow production down just to create an "event" on October
17, 2002 (remember, the first Cadillac was completed on October 17, 1902).
Who can tell us for sure about the missing "millionth" Cadillacs (eight, nine and ten millionth)?
And then, I guess, we'll leave it at that.
