Personally for me, EYP is kind of a source of
development for young people who want to
change something for the better. No matter
who you are, where you are from and what
background you have, when you get to EYP
you сan receive the immense amount of
knowledge, improve your personal skills and
meet the people you are ready to spend the
whole life with.
Talking about the place the regional session
is going to be held, Zaporizhzhia is a quite
big city on the south-east of Ukraine. It is my
hometown which definitely a lot of my good
memories connected with. Besides,
Zaporizhia is a unique place due to its huge
industrial potential and, at the same time,
because of the fact that it was a centre of
Cossacks’ civilization six centuries ago.
That is why one of my aims is to combine our
process of informal education together with
broadening of horizons for both officials and
delegates.
Seneca once said: “Difficulties strengthen
the mind, as labor does the body”, that is
why everyone who wants to challenge himor
herself definitely should apply.
If you are the person who is able
to make crazy decisions (just like
me), to create something new
and to be responsible for it at the
same time, I am waiting for your
application!
For my part, I will try to make
atmosphere in the team as productive
and friendly as it is possible. We also will
have a few meetings to get acquainted
with each other and to plan all our
actions beforehand, that is why bear in
mind that you will have to come to Kyiv
for 1-2 days in the first half of the
February.
To conclude, I hope to create the most
cohesive team ever which will consist of 7
like-minded people. If you want to
become a part of it, do not hesitate to
apply as an organiser of the Zaporizhia
Regional Session. It is a chance to bring
all your ideas into life, because European
Youth Parliament is a place where
dreams come true.
