Strike observed against
rising crimes in Naundero

Lawlessness is at its peak
in the hometown of Bhutto
leaders. Thieves barged
into the shop of
Nizamuddin Junejo late
Thursday night and stole
cash of eight lakh rupees,
other material worth two
lakhs and fled in the cover
of darkness.
Naundero police was
informed on Thursday
morning which arrived late
and after inspecting the
shop left the place of incident.
On hearing the this
news, entire shopkeepers
of the Shahi bazaar and
market came out of their
business places after shutting
down their shops, held
a protest demonstration at
Allahwala roundabout,
staged sit-in and then started
marching towards sugar
mill bypass where they
burnt tyres and again held
a demonstration against
the ruthless performance
of Naundero police.
They blocked main
Sukkur-Larkana highway
for one hour and chanted
slogans against the local
police due to which all

and Design (CEAD), Mehran
University of Engineering and
Technology (MUET)
Jamshoro. Thousands of visitors,
civil society, intellectuals,
galleries’ owners, industrial
CEOs, artists, students of
various schools and people
from different walks of life
witnessed the event that lasted
for four days.
The art work of students
from fine art, textile design,
communication design and
architecture carried different
messages related to social,
political and economic issues,
career counseling, comfortable
living compartments and suggestions
for planners. Rida
Kazmi a student of fine art displayed
her art work that
depicted the memories of partition
period that how her
grandfather suffered in that era
while migration was forced.
