From Universitas Complex to the main building of Universitatea Babeş-Bolyai (1, Mihail
Kogălniceanu Street) you may
walk – 40-45 minutes walk
Take the bus/tram 101, 102 to G. Baritiu Bus Station and then walk following the
directions:
1. Go straight ahead on Regele Ferdinand Street to Unirii Square
2. At the first traffic light junction (Unirii Square) turn right and go straight ahead for
about 50 meters, having St. Michael Cathedral on your left
3. At the first junction (Unirii Square with Matei Corvin Street and Memorandumului
street) turn left
4. Go straight ahead having St. Michael Cathedral on your left
5. At the first junction go ahead on Universităţii Street
6. Turn left on Mihail Kogalniceanu Street and you will find yourself in front of the
University’s main building (1, Mihail Kogălniceanu Street).
Public Transportation in Cluj-Napoca
The schedule for the public transportation is: Monday-Friday 5 a.m – 10:45 p.m, Saturday-
Sunday 6 a.m – 10:45 p.m.
Two-trip tickets can be purchased for ~ € 1 (3.5 RON) from the ticket kiosks to be found in any
bus station.
After getting in the bus, you must punch the ticket at one end in one of the punching machines
available.
