PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the City of Malibu is accepting applications<br />

for Council appointment to the MALIBU YOUTH COM-<br />

MISSION. The Malibu Youth Commission may make recommendations<br />

to the City Council with respect to matters concerning the City’s<br />

programs and projects targeted to serve young people in the community.<br />

The commission implements, with the assistance of appropriate<br />

members of the City staff and within budget limits, events, programs,<br />

and activities for the young people of the community and also holds<br />

fund-raising events to further the work of the Youth Commission. All<br />

money raised will be restricted so that it is used exclusively to support<br />

the work of the Commission, its events, programs, and activities.<br />

Any students in grades 7th through 12th in the 2018-2019 school year<br />

who either live or attend school within the City of Malibu are eligible<br />

and recommended to apply.<br />

The deadline to submit applications for consideration of appointment<br />

is Friday, March 23, 2018, by 4:00 p.m.<br />
