What are your personal qualities which distinguish
you from others? Living with some
sort of injury/disorder year after year makes
you very understanding of other people’s problems.
You become very non judgemental of
people in general. A lot of things “normal”
persons might see as irritating or non comprehensive
in someone’s behavior, becomes
completely ok for someone who knows what
Hell on Earth actually feels like.
So that’s something good that has come out of
the bad in my life. I understand, never judge,
and help other people who need it, at the
same time they help me. Several of my friends
also live with hidden disorders. We sort of feel
safe with each other and respect each other’s
problems and sometimes “weird” behavior.
