We are delighted that the first comic has been received by nearly 4,000
children and young people across NI, your response to the comics have been
so overwhelmingly positive and many have shared how the stories and our
discussion groups have made a real impact on your lives.
You have welcomed our Uberheroes into your schools, colleges and lives and
we are delighted that we’ve been able to bring you stories based on real life
experiences of local young people, although their names and details have
been changed their core experiences are the same. This has been really
important to you to know that these stories aren’t based on a writer’s imagination
but are real situations, real conversations and real issues that have been
bravely told by real young people to help you. You have also been delighted to
hear that our Artist and Writers are only in their early 20’s making this much
more relevant to you in today’s society.
We know how excited you are to read the conclusion of Mikey’s story in this
comic, and we’ve also included a few preview pages from our third comic.
We will continue to offer you a platform for your voices to be heard, we always
want to hear from you as we value your opinion and ideas. Your experiences
can help and effect positive change in others. So please continue to go online
and send us your great ideas and insights into how you really feel and we will
continue to use and develop these to help you and others in future comics.
Enjoy the two stories in this next episode of your Uberhero comic and
please continue to share your thoughts and opinions on our website at
