Seven Lakes High School Best Buddies hosted their Thanksgiving and
Holiday parties in November and December. Participants got to enjoy
snacks, dancing and crafts. The Best Buddies program, in high schools,
fosters one-to-one friendships between high school students with
and without IDD. The Best Buddies High Schools program helps break
through social barriers at an important time in a young person’s life.

The event brought in
over $230,000 - money
that will be used to
help Best Buddies Texas
expand in local elementary
schools, middle
schools and high
schools in 2018. Best
Buddies is the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the
social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with
