Prairie Chicken National Wildlife Refuge, Sea Center Texas, Gulf Coast Bird<br />
Observatory, Brazos Bend State Park and Katy Prairie Conservancy. You<br />
will have the opportunity to enhance your knowledge of local geology,<br />
range management and ecological diversity. You will also visit local<br />
properties to view and discuss different habitats and ecosystems. <strong>The</strong> total<br />
cost for the program is $175 for individuals or $300 per couple who share<br />

Please commit to becoming a positive adult role model for the youth<br />
in our community. <strong>The</strong> juveniles are referred by the Fort Bend County<br />
Juvenile Probation Department. <strong>The</strong>re are so many children in need of a<br />
listening ear and encouragement. Come forward and be that person for<br />
someone in need… you may be the ONLY one! Mentors must be 21 years<br />

CHILD ADVOCATES OF FORT BEND<br />
SEEKS NEW VOLUNTEERS<br />
Do you like children and want to make a difference? Child Advocates of<br />
Fort Bend is looking for volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected<br />
children. Opportunities include being an advocate for children in foster<br />
care or helping out in the Children’s Advocacy Center one morning or<br />
afternoon each week. Volunteers must be over 21 years of age, complete<br />
an application and interview and submit to background screening. For an<br />

Child Advocates of Fort Bend is a non-profit agency dedicated to providing<br />
a voice for abused and neglected children in Fort Bend County. With an<br />
army of volunteers, Child Advocates of Fort Bend serves more than 400<br />
children each month through its Court Appointed Special Advocates<br />
(CASATM) Program and Children’s Advocacy Center.<br />
