PugHearts of Houston - PugHearts of Houston is a non-profit rescue<br />

dedicated to giving unwanted and neglected Pugs a second chance. It is<br />

staffed by a network of volunteers in and around the greater Houston,<br />

where they learn to live (some of them for the first time) in a home with<br />

DACHSHUND RESCUE OF HOUSTON - We are a small group of volunteers<br />

right here in Houston and the surrounding areas and we love<br />

dachshunds! Our primary mission is to rescue (from pounds and<br />

shelters) purebred (and a few mixed) dachshunds that end up alone,<br />

abandoned and/or abused and for many of them, it can be an 11th<br />

hour rescue. All of our rescued dachsies receive a complete health<br />

evaluation by our accredited veterinary clinics and are either spayed<br />

or neutered (if not already), given immunizations, dental care and are<br />

started on any necessary medical treatment(s). Our focus following<br />

rescue, is rehabilitation and relocation into a safe and loving foster<br />
