Penicuik Crimes
On Monday 04/12/2017 a Ford Focus motor car was stolen
from Mauricewood Steadings, Penicuik.
On Thursday 07/12/2017 an iPad 2 was stolen from
Cornbank St James Primary School, Penicuik.

Following a house search under warrant in Edinburgh
Road, Penicuik on Monday 11/12/2017 a 39 yr old male is
being investigated for a number of drugs offences.
On Monday 11/12/2017 in Cuiken Terrace, Penicuik a 21 yr
old male was found in possession of control drugs and will
be reported.
On Monday 11/12/2017 a 38 yr old female was issued with
a Recorded Police Warning having been seen shoplifting
by staff within Tesco, Edinburgh Road, Penicuik.
Loanhead Crimes
On Tuesday 05/12/25017 a 20 yr old male was seen by staff
stealing a large value of bedding from Next, Straiton
Mains, Loanhead. Enquiries are continuing.
Between Tuesday 05/12/2017 and Wednesday 06/12/2017
a BMW motor car was damaged whilst parked in Hunter
Avenue, Loanhead.
On Wednesday 06/12/2017 a 24 yr old male stole a
quantity of festive tree decorations from Next Retail,
Straiton Mains, Loanhead.
On Friday 08/12/2017 a 50 yr old male was reported for
drugs offences having been found in possession of a
controlled substance in Engine Road, Loanhead.
On Sunday 10/12/2017 a male stole £160 of ladies perfume
from Next Retail, Straiton Mains, Loanhead
On Monday 11/12/2017, following a disturbance in Lawrie
Terrace, Loanhead, three males in their 30’s have been
reported having seriously assaulted another male there.
On Monday 11/12/2017 a male was disturbed trying to steal
metal from a compound at Ikea, Straiton Mains, Loanhead.
Overnight between Thursday 14/12/2017 and Friday
15/12/2017 a house in Spittal Gardens, Loanhead was
entered via an unlocked rear door and a quantity of tools
and kitchen appliances were stolen from within.
On Friday 15/12/2017 a bus had its window smashed in The
Loan near the junction with George Aveune, Loanhead.
On Friday 15/12/2017 a 47 yr old female was issued with a
Recorded Police Warning having been seen shoplifting by
staff at Matalan, Straiton Mains, Loanhead.
On Sunday 17/12/2017 a female ran off from B&M Retail,
Straiton Mains, Loanhead after stealing Christmas items
from within.
On Sunday 17/12/2017 a male and female ran off from
Asda, Straiton Mains, Loanhead after stealing alcohol.
Bonnyrigg Crimes
On Wednesday 06/12/2017 a 27 yr old male was reported
for a number of Drugs and Road traffic Offences, including
driving whilst disqualified, having been seen driving on the
Bonnyrigg Distributor Road.
On Thursday 07/12/2017 a vehicle was seized, and a 55 yr
old man reported for driving without Insurance in Polton
Street, Bonnyrigg.
Between Friday 08/12/2017 and Saturday 09/12/2017 a
vehicle was damaged whilst parked in Grove Farm
Gardens, Bonnyrigg
On Saturday 09/12/2017 a 23 yr old woman was reported
for numerous Road traffic Offences having been stopped
in Pentland Road, Bonnyrigg.
On Saturday 09/12/2017 an 18 yr old male was given a
Recorded Police Warning having been found in possession
of controlled drugs in Polton Street, Bonnyrigg.
On Thursday 14/12/2017 a male stole a quantity of fresh
food from the Coop, High Street, Bonnyrigg. Enquiries are
continuing.
On Saturday 16/12/2017 in Polton Bank, Lasswade a 22 yr
old male was reported for a drugs offence, driving whilst
disqualified and having no insurance.
