Girl Scout Troop 87 and Troop 230<br />
checked expiration dates on<br />
donated food, prepped, and sorted it<br />
to be given to local families.<br />
Altogether, they sorted 1,096 pounds<br />
of food donated from Saint Cloud<br />
Preparatory Academy and another 80<br />
pounds that Troop 87 donated!<br />
TROOP 970<br />
Troop 970 visited the Russell Home for<br />
Atypical Children, Inc. to spread holiday<br />
cheer, play games, and sing with the<br />
residents. While there, they helped<br />
deliver 52 boxes of Girl Scout cookies to<br />
the residents.<br />
The City of Orlando Wastewater Division<br />
had won a year supply of cookies when<br />
they placed first in the WESH 2 News’<br />
Share Your Christmas Challenge to collect<br />
canned goods for Second Harvest Food<br />
Bank of Central Florida but decided to pay<br />
it forward. ‘Tis the season.<br />
MISHAWAKA<br />
COMMUNITY<br />
The Mishawaka Community banded together<br />
to bring Christmas Eve dinners to firefighters<br />
throughout their community. Girls delivered<br />
the meals to the thankful firefighters at<br />
several fire stations, including Fire Station 31.<br />
