the Chairman
What a very encouraging year we have
had in Scripture Union! It’s been wonderful
to see the opportunities for
ministry growth and to hear of the
impact that is being made with the
young people that we have the privilege
to interact with.
The Council are most grateful to God for the
opportunities and the grace and courage to
take advantage of them in a timely manner .
Much appreciation goes to Jim Donnan, all
our staff and our many volunteers for their
tireless efforts. There have been many
challenges in the last year, particularly with
the finances, but God has been ever faithful.
As we head into 2018 it’s good to reflect on
how we are doing;
How do you measure or discern the growth or
fruitfulness of ministry such as ours or even
how are we as individuals are doing?
our state of readiness to be used by God in
the year ahead. In the light of this I feel
challenged to ask:
1. Do I detect within myself a greater
desire to Seek, Find and Do Gods will?
2. Do I detect within myself a growing
readiness to be changed by the Lord?
I look forward to this challenging year ahead
for Scripture Union as we endeavor to Seek,
Find and Do God’s will for us, and to be ready
to be changed by Him so as best to serve our
Lord and Saviour.
