The event, hosted by chamber member Kahler Automation, was held on Monday, January 8, and attended by numerous local business owners, government officials and community leaders. The event offered attendees an unparalleled opportunity for education and advocacy regarding our state's 2018 legislative goals. Attendees were given the opportunity to learn about the Minnesota Chamber's legislative priorities for 2018, which include initiatives in tax competitiveness, workplace mandates, transportation, workforce education, and the affordability of housing and childcare. Several of these concerns resonated loudly with area businesses and community leaders, who shared their insights and experiences with similar challenges at a local level.
