Deadline for HOA Board<br />
Election in March<br />
At the Annual Homeowners’ Meeting in March, one position on the HOA<br />
Board of Directors is up for election. Abel Gonzalez is in this position<br />
currently. If you are a <strong>Westgate</strong> homeowner and you’d like to run for this<br />
position, you MUST SUBMIT your INTENT TO RUN BY Monday, <strong>February</strong><br />
19, <strong>2018</strong>, to our management company, Inframark, by contacting Angela<br />
Bumann at Angela.Bumann@Inframark.com (also copy the Board at<br />
board@westgatetx.net) or calling 281-870-0585 (Inframark).<br />
If you have any questions about what Board directors do, feel free to<br />
email us. HOA Board members should be <strong>Westgate</strong> homeowners who<br />
want to help steer <strong>Westgate</strong> right and protect their home’s property<br />
values. Having good Board members can make a big difference in the<br />
quality of life in a neighborhood. They need to have common sense,<br />
care about the community and be willing to go to monthly meetings to<br />
conduct business.<br />

Your Annual Dues?<br />
If you anticipate not being able to pay your <strong>Westgate</strong> fees for <strong>2018</strong><br />
on time, be sure to call our management company Inframark (281-<br />
870-0585) to discuss getting on a payment plan before more fees are<br />
tacked on - from the attorney, etc., $605 can turn into $1,000+ very<br />
quickly. Even if you don’t think you can pay all at once, you need<br />
to call Inframark to make payment arrangements, DON’T WAIT and<br />
cost yourself MORE money. These dues help pay for landscaping,<br />
electricity, water, refurbishing and adding amenities and pool<br />
management, among other things. It helps <strong>Westgate</strong> continue to be<br />
a great community with stable or increasing property values. If you’d<br />
ever like details of how your dues are spent, you can always ask our<br />
management company.<br />

New Section Groups on Facebook<br />
By now, I hope everyone knows about our neighborhood<br />
Facebook group- “<strong>Westgate</strong> Subdivision Official” -with over 1,000<br />
members. In an effort to foster crime prevention and safety, we<br />
now have Facebook groups created by <strong>Westgate</strong> Crime Watch<br />
for each individual section. This will make communication<br />
easier and quicker to stay informed on what’s happening in your<br />
immediate area.<br />

Also, these section groups will facilitate more neighborly relationships<br />
and foster a sense of community with your closest neighbors. This is a<br />
basic tenet of neighborhood safety.<br />
To join your section group search for “<strong>Westgate</strong> Section X” (your section<br />
number) and request to join. You may be sent a message and asked to<br />
provide confirmation of your address. Don’t know which section you live<br />
in? Look on HCAD online, look up your address and it will tell you which<br />
section you’re in. Or you can see the <strong>Westgate</strong> map on our Facebook<br />
group, <strong>Westgate</strong> Subdivision Official. Help <strong>Westgate</strong> be a safe, closer-knit<br />
community by joining your group on Facebook!<br />
