Deadline for HOA Board
Election in March
At the Annual Homeowners’ Meeting in March, one position on the HOA
Board of Directors is up for election. Abel Gonzalez is in this position
currently. If you are a Westgate homeowner and you’d like to run for this
position, you MUST SUBMIT your INTENT TO RUN BY Monday, February
19, 2018, to our management company, Inframark, by contacting Angela
Bumann at Angela.Bumann@Inframark.com (also copy the Board at
board@westgatetx.net) or calling 281-870-0585 (Inframark).
If you have any questions about what Board directors do, feel free to
email us. HOA Board members should be Westgate homeowners who
want to help steer Westgate right and protect their home’s property
values. Having good Board members can make a big difference in the
quality of life in a neighborhood. They need to have common sense,
care about the community and be willing to go to monthly meetings to
conduct business.
Difficulty Paying
Your Annual Dues?
If you anticipate not being able to pay your Westgate fees for 2018
on time, be sure to call our management company Inframark (281-
870-0585) to discuss getting on a payment plan before more fees are
tacked on - from the attorney, etc., $605 can turn into $1,000+ very
quickly. Even if you don’t think you can pay all at once, you need
to call Inframark to make payment arrangements, DON’T WAIT and
cost yourself MORE money. These dues help pay for landscaping,
electricity, water, refurbishing and adding amenities and pool
management, among other things. It helps Westgate continue to be
a great community with stable or increasing property values. If you’d
ever like details of how your dues are spent, you can always ask our
management company.

Your Neighbors
New Section Groups on Facebook
By now, I hope everyone knows about our neighborhood
Facebook group- “Westgate Subdivision Official” -with over 1,000
members. In an effort to foster crime prevention and safety, we
now have Facebook groups created by Westgate Crime Watch
for each individual section. This will make communication
easier and quicker to stay informed on what’s happening in your
immediate area.

Also, these section groups will facilitate more neighborly relationships
and foster a sense of community with your closest neighbors. This is a
basic tenet of neighborhood safety.
To join your section group search for “Westgate Section X” (your section
number) and request to join. You may be sent a message and asked to
provide confirmation of your address. Don’t know which section you live
in? Look on HCAD online, look up your address and it will tell you which
section you’re in. Or you can see the Westgate map on our Facebook
group, Westgate Subdivision Official. Help Westgate be a safe, closer-knit
community by joining your group on Facebook!
