Dear Recognition, Personalization, and Signage Professionals,
We are proud to present our 2018 Components Catalog, full of great products to help
you in your business. We have been very busy again coming up with new product
ideas for you. You will find over 1000 new items in our 2018 catalog. We have new
products in many different areas, so please take some time to look through the
catalog, or our New Products Brochure which you will also get in the mail or can
view online.
We have started a whole new section of the catalog for Sign Supplies. You will find our new
offerings here such as sign vinyl by 3M, FDC and RTape as well as many tools that you will
need in working with vinyl. We have also added Snap frames, banner stands and Pronto
changeable copy letters from Gemini, all at great prices that you expect from JDS. Stay tuned
for more new signage product introductions from JDS in 2018 as well!
In the Sublimation section you will find many new products including sublimatable versions of
our very popular Polar Camel tumblers. We also have a new sublimatable film called SubTHAT!
which allows you to turn many hard substrates into items that you can sublimate. This product
has been in development for nearly three years, and you will want to learn more about how
it works. We can’t wait to see the creative ideas you come up with on what you can now
sublimate.
Polar Camel drinkware has been one of our hottest new products in 2017. In 2018 you will find
three full new lines to offer your customers. The first is a line of stemless wine glasses. These
are 12 oz. and have a nice rounded design that your customers are sure to love. The other two
lines are 20 oz. and 30 oz. tumblers that we are calling Polar Camel Ringneck. They feature
lines at the bottom of the tumblers to give them a little more design and fit more snuggly in cup
holders. You are sure to love the fact that all three of these new lines are offered in 14 colors!
Gifts and premiums have been one of our areas of focus the last few years and you will find
many great new items again this year. More Laserable Leatherette items such as bottle
openers, certificate holders, journals, and leatherette wrapped pens just to name a few. Check
out our new line of Laserable Leatherette wall décor. We are providing the canvas and letting
you provide the creativity on this line, the possibilities are endless! You will also find more
Bamboo cutting boards which have become very popular laserable gifts.
Prices are up a little more this year than they have been the last couple of years, mostly for
two reasons. 1. The US $ has become weaker which makes foreign manufactured items more
expensive and 2. Many commodity prices have gone up as economies around the world have
gotten stronger. Most things that contain metal you will find went up more this year after being
stable the last couple of years. We have tried wherever possible to keep the increases to a
minimum and even found a few areas where we could reduce prices such as Walnut plaques.
We are very excited for 2018 and hope you are too. We think the personalization portion of our
industry is only getting stronger and will continue to offer our customers ways to diversify and
grow their businesses well into the future.
