HAMPTON - Hampton Garden Club is pleased to announce the 20<strong>18</strong> Beautification Mini-Grant Program. The<br />

purpose of the mini-grant program is to foster appreciation of the natural beautification of our Hampton public<br />

areas, including roadside, parks, and public walkways, to the benefit the public’s enjoyment. Hampton Garden<br />

Club has presented mini-grants to selected Hampton area gardeners for the past three years. Public areas both large<br />

and small have benefitted from this program. Funds for the program come from proceeds of Hampton Garden<br />

Club’s Plant & Bake Sale held each May. Application deadline is April 1, 20<strong>18</strong>. Funds will be awarded to select<br />

Street on Thursday, April 5th from 9am- 5pm providing free dental screenings, cleanings, sealants and fluoride<br />

for children by appointment only. Adults can also receive screenings and cleanings for $49. For questions and to<br />

NEWBURYPORT – Mark your calendar for Pennies for Poverty’s Oyster Fundraiser at Starboard Galley (55<br />

Water Street, Newburyport) on Saturday, February 24 from 5:30 to 7 pm. This year’s focus is raising funds to<br />

support people struggling to pay for housing and utilities on our area. This annual event brings together Pennies’<br />

community of people who care. Stop by for an appetizer before you head out to dinner. Join with others who<br />

want to make a difference in our community. Donations of $15 per person (includes a plate of 3 oysters) will be<br />

accepted at the door. Additional oysters will be available for a small per-oyster price. Come out on a cold February<br />

night to enjoy time with friends and neighbors. Cash bar. Extra seating available upstairs this year.<br />
