Dave turned 60 on the<br />
15th August – and to<br />
celebrate he not only threw<br />
himself from the plane, but<br />
roped in and seven others,<br />
including his partner Debs<br />
and his children!<br />
Dave explained his<br />
motivation to undertake his<br />
first skydive, “I feel truly<br />
privileged to<br />
work for the<br />
children in<br />
Alder Hey<br />
who never<br />
fail to inspire<br />
me every day<br />
and wanted<br />
to help to<br />
improve<br />
the health<br />
of not just<br />
today’s children but future<br />
generations too.”<br />
Dave self-funded his jump<br />
and raised over £1,000,<br />
making an ‘old man happy’<br />
(his words not ours!)<br />
