Careers & Employment<br />
The Center for Student Careers and Employment<br />
(CSCE) assists with all phases of the career<br />
development process. Students that are unsure of their<br />
target career are encouraged to visit the CSCE to take<br />
an online career assessment. The CSCE also provides<br />
one-on-one resume reviews, special topic workshops,<br />
mock interviews, job postings, co-curricular transcripts,<br />
job fairs, Career Check, computer lab access and many<br />
other job-search resources. The CSCE isn’t your last<br />
stop in your educational experience; we’re here to help<br />

Dining Services<br />
Mary’s Kitchen, in the lower level of the Student<br />
Center, features soups, sandwiches, fresh salads,<br />
snack bar and hot entrées. Stop by for a meal or<br />
a snack from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through<br />
Thursday, and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Fridays. Refreshments<br />
are also available from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday<br />
through Friday in Café Belay, located in the Health and<br />
Human Performance Center. Catering services are<br />
also available.<br />

Performance Center<br />
The Health and Human Performance Center (HHPC)<br />
includes a fitness conditioning center, assessment lab,<br />
gymnasium, indoor track, group exercise program,<br />
dance classes, locker rooms, indoor climbing facility<br />
and outdoor equipment rental center. At the HHPC<br />
there is something for everyone, no matter what your<br />
current fitness level may be.<br />

Intramural Sports<br />
The Intramural Sports Program offers an opportunity<br />
for students, faculty and staff to participate in a variety<br />
of sport activities. The program is offered at no cost to<br />
the participants, and those participating may enter as<br />
many, or few, activities as are provided during<br />
the spring and fall semesters. Every level of player<br />
may participate in the program. The Intramural Sports<br />
program allows participants to become active in a<br />
variety of sports activities, have fun with friends, meet<br />
new people and enjoy one of the many opportunities<br />

Library<br />
Special collections include the Southwest Room, for<br />
regional information and resources, and The Carter<br />
Room, for earth science and geologic materials. The<br />
Library houses 88,000 volumes, with an additional<br />
18,000 electronic books and more than 60 research<br />
databases. The Library offers interlibrary loan - a<br />
service that allows students, faculty and staff to<br />
borrow books and journal articles from other libraries<br />
throughout the U.S. Reference librarians are available<br />
during all regular Library hours to assist patrons with<br />
research and other informational needs.<br />
Students can access library resources through the<br />
library’s web page sanjuancollege.edu/lib from on or<br />
off campus. A self-check system is available for<br />
students, staff and faculty to use with a valid College<br />
I.D. The Law Library is located adjacent to the student<br />
study area. Please ask at the circulation desk in the<br />
main library for access to the law collection.<br />

Aztec Public Library<br />

The Aztec Public Library is located in the Aztec Family<br />
Center, 315 S. Ash St., which also houses San Juan<br />
College East, the Aztec Boys & Girls Club, and Vista<br />
Nueva High School. Library staff provides specific<br />
reference and research services for San Juan College<br />

The SJC West Library is located at 69 County Road<br />
6500 in Kirtland. The Library has access to the SJC<br />
Library’s online catalog and databases. In addition to<br />
general reference materials and periodicals, it houses<br />
a children’s collection in the Reading Enrichment<br />
Room. Reference service is available Monday<br />
