Wednesday May 9 th MARTIN ORBIDANS Yamaha / Technics Martin first appeared on the concert circuit after serving in Her Majesty's Royal Marines Band where he worked for 5 years as pianist on the Royal Yacht Britannia. Having spent several years playing for organ societies and festivals throughout the UK, his wanderlust took him off to Cairo for a week, and he stayed for 5 years! There he played at the British Embassy, the cathedral, jazz clubs and gave tuition. Now back ashore in Devon, we are delighted to welcome him back to World of Music where our long-standing members will undoubtedly remember his hilarious anecdotes and brilliant musicianship.
