THE HOUSTON POND SOCIETY
The Houston Pond Society was formed in 2004 to meet a need for pond
owners to meet and interface with other pond owners about the use
of a pond as a landscape feature.
A pond should be a part of the overall back yard habitat and landscaping,
and that pond construction; water lilies, plants, fish, patios, decks,
lighting and other landscape features should be some of the topics
discussed at the meetings.
Meetings are held the first Saturday of each month at a member’s home. For

WEST HOUSTON ROMANCE WRITERS
The West Houston Chapter of the Romance Writers of America
would like to invite aspiring writers, romance readers or anyone
interested in the craft of writing to join them on the 2 nd Saturday of
each month. Each meeting of the WHRWA is informative, entertaining
and inspiring for those budding authors or published authors
who are seeking answers to their writing related concerns. Several

Houston Underwater Photographic Society is a nonprofit organization
formed to encourage interest and promote participation in
underwater photography/videography. Each meeting includes a
speaker presentation and slide contest. Attendance is free to the
