opens new, state-of-the-art wing<br />
Lemont Nursing and<br />
Rehabilitation is proud to<br />
announce the opening of<br />
its new private rehabilitation<br />
wing. The 26-bed<br />
Sycamore unit officially<br />
opened in December 2017<br />
and has been a huge success<br />
in the Lemont and<br />
surrounding communities.<br />
Lemont Nursing and<br />
Rehabilitation has been a<br />
part of the beautiful, historical<br />
Lemont community<br />
for more than 20 years.<br />
With the majority of local<br />
hospitals offering private<br />
rooms, it was very important<br />
to offer the same amenities<br />
when patients were<br />
transitioning to a skilled<br />
nursing facility. A very<br />
important element in the<br />
healing process is getting<br />
adequate rest so our patients<br />
can actively participate<br />
in therapy and return<br />
home, not only quickly,<br />
but safely, as well.<br />
The Therapy Department<br />
is overseen by Physical<br />
Therapist, Cindy Yap.<br />
“I have been working as<br />
the Therapy Manager at<br />
Lemont Center for the past<br />
five years,” Cindy says.<br />
“Lemont has always offered<br />
a top notch therapy<br />
program and I am excited<br />
for our expansion, as it enables<br />
our staff to elevate<br />
the level of therapy and<br />
care for our residents. Our<br />
Therapists truly enjoy treating<br />
and watching residents<br />

growth of the community<br />
and improving the<br />

therapy lounge with<br />
