Dear all ,<br />

It’s a pleasure for me to prepare the intro for the first <strong>edition</strong> of the <strong>Vans</strong> <strong>Magazine</strong> right after the<br />

AMAZING RLS we had last week.<br />

We learnt how to deliver a great daily brief, how to show our new collections to our team and to<br />

our customers, how to prioritize our job and how to be focused on what really move the needle.<br />

We saw some AWESOME product and we’ve been updated on marketing and digital.<br />

We also had the honor to have people from the USA sharing their experience with us.<br />

And, last but not least we had Steve and the legend with us (I still can’t believe it!).<br />

But, most of all, we had so many emotions, so many laugh, so many hugs, and even some tears<br />

last week.<br />

It couldn’t be any different after the stronger year ever for us in Europe!<br />

You can’t even imagine everyone’s effort to make sure you could have the best experience ever in<br />

your work life.<br />

We knew the expectations were really high and everyone of us, behind the scenes, gave his 200%<br />

to go above and beyond them, FOR YOU.<br />

Yes because as I said when I’ve been rewarded, life (not only professional one) it’s all about<br />

GIVING.<br />

WHAT YOU GIVE IS WHAT YOU RECEIVE BACK. And the MORE YOU GIVE, THE MORE YOU RECEIVE.<br />

Having said that, and I’m sure I can speak also for my brothers DMs, I really hope we’ve been able<br />

to give you back at least 50% of what EVERY SINGLE OF YOU GIVE US EVERY DAY.<br />

Now it’s all about you…<br />

How you’ll bring all these emotions back in you stores?<br />

How you’ll cascade them to your teams?<br />

How you will make sure that every customer can breathe the energy we all have?<br />

I can suggest you to open your heart. To listen to your team and your customers. To make<br />

everyone feel appreciated and to have FUN!<br />

Now…everyone of us is on our own path to become a better leader. This path will drive us at least<br />

for the next 3 years. And I can ensure you it will be even more exciting if we will do it all together,<br />

as a FAMILY!<br />

I’m honored to be part of this FAMILY!<br />
