Gradually life for my family improved and changed for the better – because I had
improved and changed for the better, and you and yours can too.
Our positive attitude to life was necessary to Emily's well-being too. When times
are hard, some people give up. I implore you never to give up. In view of Emily's
severe disabilities, she could have felt like giving up, but through constant sheer
determination we continue to give her the will to live. When Emily was born we
were told that she wouldn’t survive more than 24 hours. She recently (2018)

Whilst much of this success story could be attributed to other things, I know deep
down in my heart that it was due mainly to attitude. My attitude, Emily's attitude
and our attitude. Our attitude has always been positive and optimistic. And in this
life you get what you feel and think about most.
They say ‘when the going gets tough the tough gets going.’ So, if it’s tough for you,
let me know. Even if it’s not tough yet and you don’t want to wait for it to get
tough - let me know.
