KARACHI: The Sindh High<br />

Court on Friday turned down bail<br />

plea of former provincial minister<br />

Sharjeel Inam Memon in a case<br />

pertaining to the Rs5.76 billion<br />

corruption in the Sindh information<br />

department.<br />

A two-judge bench headed by<br />

Justice Iqbal Ahmed Kalhoro<br />

rejected the request of bail of<br />

Memon and other accused and<br />

maintained that accused have filed<br />

bail applications after the arrest<br />

and, if they want, can approach<br />

the apex court in this connection.<br />

The lawyers of the Memon<br />

filed the bail application on health<br />

grounds.His counsel Advocate<br />

Sardar Latif Khosa requested the<br />

bench to hear Mr Memon’s bail<br />

application at an earlier date<br />

their respective colleges with<br />

the examination fees of Rs.<br />

10,300/= (for each part) and<br />

late fees of Rs. 500/= (Total<br />

of Int’l Relations,<br />

International Relations delivered<br />

the welcome speech and<br />

explained his views on Dr<br />

Mubarak Ali’s writings as comprehensively<br />

written and easy to<br />

understand adding that Dr Ali is<br />

critical as well as analytical in<br />

his writings. “History was not<br />

only about people and events<br />

rather it was a wider discourse<br />

to ponder upon”, Dr Naeem<br />

University elucidated how Dr.<br />

Mubarak took the narrative to<br />

his reader which is an art that he<br />

masters. Dr Aziz unfolded the<br />

social media which was responsible<br />

made in a research paper on “Macrolevel<br />

analysis of Doctoral Education<br />

in Pakistan” which has been written<br />

Hussain recently. The paper was read<br />

in seminar held at Agha Khan<br />

Medical University, Karachi.<br />

According to this research paper the<br />

countries which have highest number<br />

of doctoral graduates are USA, (67,<br />

4490) Germany, (28,147) UK,<br />

(25,020) and India (24,300) in a single<br />

calendar year. Rather in Pakistan<br />

around 163 universities have produced<br />

over 11,528 doctoral graduates<br />

in past 71 years.<br />
