INSURANCE
Equipe Equine Insurances is our partner when it comes to insurances. Equipe offers
the possibility to insure your horse immediately after it has been allotted.
Equipe 3 Equine insurance for the period of two weeks after allotment
The insurance can take effect immediately after allotment based on the wordings
of the Equipe 3 Equine Insurance (Mortality and Loss of Use due to an accident or
disease) for the period of 2 weeks. The premium is 1% of the purchase price.
Equipe 3 Equine Insurance includes:
• 100% indemnification in case of Mortality due to an accident or disease.
• 90% indemnification in case of Loss of Use due to an accident or disease.
The insurance includes fire, theft, EU transport, limited (unborn) foal and limited vet
fees insurance.
The horses sold during the auction are clinically and radiographically examined and
acceptable.
Application form and premium deduction
Application forms are available at the sales office. By completing this form, you
are not on risk, and you save the costs of additional veterinary examinations. After
taking out the short-term insurance, one of our employees will contact you. If you
would like to insure your horse for a longer period, the premium already paid will be
deducted from the annual premium.
Equipe Transport insurance
Equipe Equine insurance also offers the possibility to insure horses during
transportation worldwide. The premium rates for these insurances are available on
request.
During the auction Equipe employees are present for all questions about the
insurances.
