Gabriel Barathieu
Underwater photographer, Gabriel
Barathieu’s love for water is evident
in his masterpieces. It all started when
he had to move to a small island in
the Indian sea. It happened to be a
migratory sweet spot, Reunion Island,
where his passion for the marine life grew and
has seen no stopping ever since. Diving with his
partner, Yann Oulia, the two set out, cameras in
hand, to document the whales. Gabriel enjoys
the company of the marine beings as much as
they enjoy his. His work leaves the viewer in awe,
wondering about what the world underneath
might really be.
