...AS WE KNOW HER!
IYA NI IYA MI!
I just want to thank everyone for coming
here to celebrate my mum.
I remember the first time I saw my mum
cry. She was in a completely new
country and it was one of my earliest
memories I have of my mum. She was
holding my hand and pushing a buggy,
the wind was cold and the weather was
stormy with snow. My mum was pushing
against the wind because she was
dropping me off at school and on her
way to the GP with my sibling in the
buggy, tears ran down her face, that was
when I knew I had great admiration for
my mum. This was a woman that had
left everything she knew to come to
somewhere new to start over again and
for my better tomorrow and that
deserves great admiration.
Another memory of my mum is how
prayerful she was. As we slept as
children, I could hear her praying
around 3 AM and 4 AM, she would come
into my bedroom to anoint us as we
slept, this was such a frequent
occurrence that I remember always
saying amen even as I slept. Whenever I
found it difficult to sleep the sound of
my mum's voice praying, gave me such a
good feeling that sleep came easily.
MY DEAREST MOTHER!
My mum is a praying woman, hardworking
and oh so creative and
talented. She was never an inside the
box thinker but always an outside the
box thinker. I Admire her for her
beauty as well, my dad is a lucky man.
I thank God because her beautiful
genetic’s were passed onto me, I am
grateful for my mum and I am glad to
have her as my mum. I truly appreciate
all she does and has done for me,
always encouraging me, always praying
for me, always being there and
knowing when things aren’t great
almost like a sixth sense but I know it’s
the Holy Spirit working in her. I am not
a perfect child but I am glad my mum is
my mum and I wanted to take this
opportunity to say thank you to my
mum. For being a best friend and
holding me close, providing for us and
for others to.
My mum is a prayer warrior, a friend,
an entrepreneur, a pastor and a
woman of essence. And I want to thank
her for her dedication towards us her
children, both biological and spiritual
and I want to thank God for bringing
her ahead of us and seeing something
wonderful in her so that we can all
learn and take from. I am grateful
towards you mum and love you dearly.
Thank you And God Bless. Enjoy
I thank you for being there for me. You
were always there no matter the
situation. Whenever there was a
problem you would find a way to
resolve it. You have always been by my
side. Even at the times you were sick
you still tried to get the strength to take
care of me. You always found a way to
encourage me when I am down. I just
want to thank you for being there for
me even with all the trouble I have
caused. I wish you a very happy
birthday and you will live to see many
more generations in Jesus Mighty
Name. Amen
