Hello Readers!
It’s Spring! Well, nearly. After the recent snow apocalypse, you’d
be forgiven for thinking that the warm weather will never come,
but be assured, Spring is coiled, waiting to be sprung.
This time of year is all about new beginnings and you’ll start to
see new shoots of life appearing soon. With the warmer weather
on the way (hopefully) you should be able to get outside and
bathe in the new life starting to appear. If you’d like to share your
pictures of the world around you with us, we’d love to see them.
Speaking of new beginnings, Foster Care Fortnight begins on
the 14th May, but you can make a difference to the life of a child
at any time. If you think you might like to become a foster carer,
read our section on fostering and take the first step on a truly
rewarding journey.
In our What’s On Guide, you’ll find lots of amazing activities to
keep you busy over the coming months and if you fancy seeing
a show, why not check out our Box Office listings? Don’t forget
to enter the inventors competition on page 2 to try and win
£1000 worth of equipment for your school!
Aside from the all the cute new animals, the change in the
weather, and the new flowers, it’s also that time of year when a
certain bunny leaves chocolate eggs in the night. There are lots
of Easter Egg Trails through the countryside taking place over
the festive period, so get outside and go on an egg Hunt.
Have a wonderful Spring and Easter and we’ll see you all again
for our May edition.
