We founded De Yin School in January 2015 with the aim
of helping students to develop and fulfil their potential.
The School provides a safe and facilitating environment
which encourages students to flourish.
Our mission is to prepare students for lifelong success and
to foster motivation, creativity and confidence both in the
classroom and in the world outside. We treat every student
as an individual and strive to tailor teaching to the need
of the individual learner. We achieve this in part by having
small classes of around ten pupils to allow each one to
receive as much attention as possible from the teacher.

HOW PARENTS CAN REDUCE TEST STRESS
Exams can be highly stressful at any age, but here are
the two main tactics parents can use to reduce stress:
GET ORGANISED
Starting preparations early can dramatically reduce stress
and panic closer to the test date. Make sure your child
has everything they need, from coloured pens to study
guides. Ensure their work space at home is comfortable
and quiet enough for their needs.
ROUTINE REALLY HELPS – and regular breaks are vital to
avoid feeling overwhelmed. Schedule in small treats and
outings, and ensure they wind down properly before bed
time.
PROVIDE LOVE AND SUPPORT
Never underestimate the positive impact you can have
simply by being supportive. Show an interest, encourage
them, try to motivate them by establishing a feel-good
factor about the learning, and let them know you are
proud of how hard they are working. Always encourage
them to ask for help if they need it.
REMEMBER, all your children need to know is that you love
them and that no exam result can affect that.
