V-FOLD
This versitile form is what most people think of
when they hear the term “pop-up”. 6 The folded paper
unfolds as the page is opened, to give the illusion that
it is popping up from the page. By adding on to the
basic v-fold, a paper engineer can create very elaborate
pop-ups. Many of these sometimes unbelievable popups
are enjoyed in books produced today.
