Madame Zuzu’s closes its doors
Staff Report
Madame Zuzu’s tea shop
won’t provide Highland
Parkers with artisanal teas,
coffee and vegan pastries
anymore, at least not until
it finds a new location.
According to the owner
William Patrick Corgan’s
Instagram account, the tea
shop had to close Monday,
March 19, citing tenancy
issues.
Corgan wrote in the post
that he is searching for a
new location, and wishes to
remain in Highland Park if
possible.
“Unfortunately, Highland
Park doesn’t have a
lot of ideal spots at this
time, which is part of the
holdup. So again, thanks
again to all our patrons.
You have my gratitude for
your support,” he wrote in
the post. “There will be
free tea that day for everyone
who comes by, and
special last-day sales. (And
as far as [Madame Zuzu’s]
2.0 goes, we hope to open
a new location very soon,
remaining in Highland
Park if possible).”
