WISE (Women Who Ignite Student Engagement) Symposium Program

Our mission is to unite college women from across the USF system to represent the
voices of students and lead campus events promoting the advancement of women. All
proceeds from this event will fund a WLP scholarship. This scholarship will provide a
young woman with the opportunity to become integrated within our WLP network and
provide finances to help fund her college career. She will serve in an official capacity within
the WLP Program, building relationships and developing leadership skills that will position
her for future success. This is a chance to empower college women to become pioneers
and chart their own path.
Purpose. A word which resonates across all cultures and backgrounds, and which links
the different parts of our lives. Purpose is the combination of the multiple aspects of our
daily living, actively playing a part in shaping who we are as people. From our careers,
to our health, and from our personal lives to service, it is important to recognize the
different areas that make us whole - and create balance - in our lives . Throughout this
symposium, purpose will be dissected and analyzed on a blank canvas, where ideas
and concepts will be painted to life. The speakers in our two panel discussions will
focus on the sub-themes: efficiency throughout our daily lives and service as an
important part of one’s purpose.
