The Space is Norfolk’s best conference centre for
business and training events. We help our clients
deliver successful and effective events across
a range of versatile spaces for events and
meetings.
Our venue is flexible, our staff are helpful, skilled and friendly and our competitive
prices include free parking and wi-fi. As a social enterprise, we provide young
people and long term unemployed people with opportunities for skill development
and work experience and all profits go to charitable causes. We never tire of
hearing how our staff go above and beyond to make an event a success.

Social Enterprise
The Space is owned and operated by a local church called Proclaimers. All profits
generated are reinvested into charitable causes which have a positive impact on the
local community and further afield in Europe and other parts of the world.
Our social aims extend to the way that we operate our venue, in particular staffing. We
seek to provide opportunities for young people to develop skills for the workplace
through volunteering and work experience. We work with partner organisations to
provide apprenticeship, work experience and employment opportunities for young
people who have struggled with mainstream education for a variety of reasons.
We are currently working with local schools and colleges to promote
entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship and are active participants in forward
thinking educational projects.
