Reflec8on on photographic collages. <br />
Throughout the SSC I have tried to document what I saw. The ideas beh<strong>in</strong>d the photographic collages allowed <br />
me to show a number <strong>of</strong> th<strong>in</strong>gs. <br />
Tak<strong>in</strong>g a lot <strong>of</strong> close up photos and piec<strong>in</strong>g them together to make a larger picture really got me th<strong>in</strong>k<strong>in</strong>g about <br />
the different components. Rather than tak<strong>in</strong>g one large photo, I had to th<strong>in</strong>k about what was important to <br />
show and how this could be shown. It enabled me to capture different expressions and emoKons <strong>in</strong> <strong>in</strong>dividuals. <br />
It allowed me to capture some <strong>of</strong> the process <strong>of</strong> creaKvity, from look<strong>in</strong>g at books to choos<strong>in</strong>g materials to the <br />
pa<strong>in</strong>Kng and draw<strong>in</strong>g itself. It also allowed me to show the social aspect <strong>of</strong> the class, with people convers<strong>in</strong>g <br />
and dr<strong>in</strong>k<strong>in</strong>g tea. It allowed my to capture some <strong>of</strong> the atmosphere felt while <strong>in</strong> the class. <br />
EssenKally it made me th<strong>in</strong>k a lot more <strong>in</strong>to what was actually go<strong>in</strong>g on around me and it really brought to light <br />
the complexity <strong>of</strong> it all. <br />
