Conclusion <br />

Look<strong>in</strong>g back before this SSC I <br />
did not know much about <strong>Art</strong> <br />
<strong>in</strong> <strong>Hospital</strong> and what it does. <br />
Very quickly I was able to see <br />
the huge impact its role can <br />
play <strong>in</strong> the quality <strong>of</strong> care <strong>of</strong> <br />
paKents with<strong>in</strong> the health <br />
service. <br />
The process <strong>of</strong> creaKve thought and expression clearly li`ed the <br />
spirits <strong>of</strong> the paKents tak<strong>in</strong>g part. PaKents o`en remarked on <br />
improved mood and purpose. I feel privileged to have been given <br />
the opportunity to work <strong>in</strong> collaboraKon with Barbara and the <strong>Art</strong> <br />
<strong>in</strong> <strong>Hospital</strong> ArKsts and the experience has opened my eyes to how <br />
art and medic<strong>in</strong>e can be <strong>in</strong>tegrated <strong>in</strong> healthcare and <br />
management. <br />
