YOUTH CHOIR
The Youth Choir of Cornerstone United Methodist Church will be presenting their
Spring musical “Christ in Every Season!” on Sunday, April 29th at the 10:45 AM
service. The story of the Christian Faith is the story of God’s love in His redemption
of humankind. The most important part of this story is the story of Jesus Christ.
The Youth Choir will present the life of Christ in song in “Christ in Every Season,”
as it is told in the various seasons of the Christian year. This includes Jesus’ birth,
life, teachings, miracles, suffering, death, resurrection and His giving of the Holy
Spirit. The Youth Choir will lead this worship event in singing Anthems, African
Songs, Praise Songs, Spirituals and Hymns.
THE FIVE LOVE LANGUAGES
Cornerstone United Methodist Church will be offering to the community a
study on Gary Chapman’s renown “The 5 Love Languages: The Secret to Love
That Lasts” starting on Tuesday, April 10th at 7-8:15 PM. This study reveals
how different people express love in different ways and contains the key
to understanding each other’s unique needs. What speaks love to you may
be meaningless to your spouse. Apply the right principles, learn the right
language and soon you’ll know the profound satisfaction and joy of being
able to express your love and feel truly loved in return. Each week the group
will view a teaching by Dr. Chapman and have the opportunity to discuss the
principles taught both in the small group and with your spouse. Singles are
also welcome as there will be opportunity to apply the teaching to relationships
with children, parents and other significant people in one’s life. Classes
will last for 75 minutes and a nursery for preschool children will be available
by advanced reservation. Each participant will need a small-group study
book, which can be purchased from the church. The cost is $10 per book.
ST. CUTHBERT CHURCH
Easter Sunday, April 1st: we invite everyone to celebrate the risen Lord! Holy
Communion and baptisms at 8 AM and Holy Communion at 10:30 AM. After
each service there will be an Easter Egg hunt for all children.

YOUTH PROGRAM Deep FRY’d at the FOF for youth, is sponsoring a monthly
movie night where we have some dinner, watch a movie and then discuss the
movie and how it relates to our lives and God. Friends are always welcome.
Cost is $3 to help cover dinner.
