“We have lived here in Cypress area since July 2013. We like living in this
area because it’s where we built our first home and we have family nearby.
Also because everything is nearby and has had many new developments
like Boardwalk, beautiful parks, great schools, restaurants, stores, etc. The
area means a lot to us because we come to see how communities come
together to help and support neighbors in times of need. We have also
meet great neighbors that have become great friends.”
Long Awaited Spring
Their favorite spring time tradition as a family is picking out their cowboy and cowgirl
wear for Rodeo Day, and then head down to NRG to enjoy the Rodeo food and
concerts. Of course, the kids have a blast at the carnival!
The Easter Bunny is Coming to Town: “For Easter each year as a family, we like to go
to brunch together, followed by Easter church service and we like to host a BBQ with
close friends and family. Our Easter tradition is an Easter egg hunt for kids, we always
make baskets for our kids filled with their favorite goodies, and bake and decorate an
Easter theme cake.”
And he’s good to me: The kids’ Easter baskets and usually filled with toys, candies,
shirts and each kid’s favorite goodies based on their favorite character or hobby.
What’s it all about: To this family, the true meaning of Easter is the “religious
celebration celebrating the resurrection of Jesus. Also a time to get together with close
family and friends and spend quality time together.”
Heart to Heart
“One of our biggest challenges was learning that not
everyone is as understanding towards special needs and
some lack knowledge to Autism. We went from having
such hard times making a grocery trip or taking my kids
to a playground because some would look at my son as
their definition of normal and due to his sensory overload
moments adults would stare or make rude comments
when he would stim or have a moment. Children around
him always seem to be much more understanding than
adults, but we have come such a long way from letting
that turn into fear to be out in public to not letting that
stop us and my children from enjoying life and all the
beautiful things life has for them to explore. Now we
enjoy the outdoors more, explore new places and travel
more.”

Payments:
The HOA is working with the management company to create a system
where homeowners can pay their due or fees over the phone with a credit
card (convenience fee will apply). We know the online payment system
has caused some frustration for some homeowners and we are trying to
remedy this. Please stay tuned for updates!
Pool:
Pool will re-open May 1, 2018. You MUST be current on your HOA dues
or be on a payment plan to gain access to the pool. You will need an
activated pool access card, pool wristbands and a signed waiver to swim
this year. You will have 3 opportunities to get these items for the season:
Saturday, April 21 st from 3-5 PM
Saturday, April 28 th from 5:30-7:30 PM
Saturday, May 12 th from 10 AM-12 PM
Mark your calendars NOW for one of these dates! If you do not come to
the pool during one the aforementioned dates and times, you WILL be
charged a convenience fee (to be determined). If you do not bring your
access card from the previous year, you will need to purchase a new card
for $10, plus a convenience fee if paying with a credit card. If you a new
renter to the community, please call TxMgmt at 832-910-7525 to fill out a
Renter’s Information Form so that you will be in the system and able to
get pool cards/bands.
Yard Of The Season:
Copperbrook is happy to announce we will be awarding trophies 4 times
throughout the year now! Best Spring yard will be judged on April 15 th or
later. Best Summer yard will be judged on July 15 th or later. Best Halloween
yard will be judged on October 31 st and best Christmas yard will be judged
on December 25 th . So, keep those yards looking great so you can earn
bragging rights! We will recognize the homes on our Facebook page too,
www.facebook.com/CopperbrookHOA, so be sure to like it today!
Alarm Permits:
Our contracted officers have asked that we remind our residents that it
is a requirement by Harris County that you register your alarm system
with the County. It is $35 to get a new permit and $10 to renew it each
year. The fees are waived if you are over 65, but you must still register
your alarm. Residents face a $75 false alarm fee if officers respond to your
alarm and it isn’t registered. You can get details about registering your
alarm here: www.hcsoalarmpermit.com.
Crime Alert:
Residents need to know that there has been a marked increase in crime
in our community, including recent car burglaries and a home invasion
in late 2017. Harris County MUD 130 pays for the contract officers for our
community. They are being extra vigilant and are aware of the increase in
activity in recent months. Copperbrook appreciates our officer’s efforts,
but we as residents MUST do our part as well. Upon speaking to one of
our contract deputies at the December Board meeting, he indicated that
the flood lights above the garage that are motion activated, are a great
deterrent and a great way to alert officers to movement when they are
making their rounds at night. We would like to encourage neighbors to
protect each other’s lives and property by watching for and reporting
suspicious activities... the residents become the “eyes” of the patrolling

deputies. If you see something, SAY something! The object is to prevent
a crime from happening by having a deputy check out even the slightest
irregularity in your street’s normal routine. Our deputies would prefer to
spend 10 minutes checking out a call rather than follow up on a crime
that has already been committed. Please don’t hesitate to call 911 when
you see anything suspicious. And PLEASE lock your cars and remove all
valuables! If you would like to learn more about crime in the area, visit

Community Updates:
As most of you have noticed, the trees along one side of our community
are being torn down (along the drainage ditch). Harris County is
proceeding with its plan to extend Huffmeister through that area. Many
of us hoped this day wouldn’t come, but now it has. Just know that the
HOA is being vigilant and aware of how this will affect Copperbrook and
will keep residents informed of any concerns if they arise. Additionally,
MUD 130 has added more fencing, more lighting and 14 new security
cameras to the Charles Austin Park. Many thanks to the MUD for making
sure this park is as safe as possible for our residents!
Violation/Past Due letters:
Simply stated, if you get a violation letter or you are past due in your HOA
dues, PLEASE call the TXMGMT at 832-910-7525 to discuss a payment plan
or get an extension on a needed repair to your property. The management
company and Board of Directors are not unreasonable and will make
every reasonable effort to work with residents if you will make an effort on
your part to either initiate the repairs or pay the fines, whichever the case.
Communication is simple and vital to keeping the issue from escalating.
The Board of Directors along with TXMGMT plan to be consistent and
proactive in keeping our community looking great, feeling safe and
making sure dues and fines are collected in a timely manner and homes
and yards are kept up to a standard to which we can all be proud.

website, you can notify the management company about maintenance
needs in the common areas, obtain information about maintenance

this website to post and send important announcements of interest to
your community, so be sure to sign up TODAY.
All homeowners should have received a letter from TXMGMT with a
private security code needed to create an account. To begin to access

Semi-Annual Garage Sale is scheduled for Saturday, April 7 th from 7

Next Door App:
This is a free app so homeowners can communicate instantly with one
another. This app can be used to request referrals from other homeowners
such as plumber, landscaper or a fence company. You can also post lost
or found pets, report suspicious vehicle or person in the neighborhood.
All you need to do is download the app and enter the information they
request. The information that is requested is the same information you can
already obtain online so do not let this deter you from looking into the app.
Monthly Meeting:
Copperbrook HOA would like to welcome all homeowners to come to our
monthly meetings at La Madeleine the first Tuesday of every month at
5 PM. The open session where we welcome residents to attend starts at 6
PM. If the door to the meeting room is closed, simply knock and the Board
will let you in. Please come share your ideas and learn of the progress on
the latest projects and events in our neighborhood. It’s a great way to get
involved and stay connected to your community. If you know ahead of
time that you will attend or you have a particular concern that you would
like added to the agenda, please call Juan at TXMGMT (832-910-7525).
Renovations
We are aware that on occasion homeowners receive letters from
the management company that are considered unwarranted by the
homeowner. If you plan to do a small renovation or do major cleaning

and you know that you may have something unsightly in your driveway/
front yard for a short period of time, please call TXMGMT (832-910-7525)
and make them aware of your activities so that she can make a note on
your account in order to avoid a letter being sent out.
If you are planning a major renovation to the exterior of your home by
painting your house, replacing your fence or adding storage to your
yard, remember to contact our neighborhood’s Architectural Review
Committee. You can call TXMGMT (our management company) to inquire
about the proper forms needed to make your submission and they will
gladly email the forms to you. We hope to have these forms available
for download on the community website soon. The Architectural Review
Committee will review the request to make sure the request meets the
neighborhoods deed restrictions. The committee’s approval must be
granted before making such changes to the facades of the home such
as paint colors, roof colors and burglar bars (which are prohibited on
the front doors or any windows). Also, sheds and canopies should not
be visible from the street. If you submit a request to the Architectural
Review Committee and it gets denied, please call TXMGMT (our
management company) to inquire as to why your project was denied.
It may be as simple as additional information is needed (ex: paint color,
pictures, lot survey). If you are thinking about a project you are invited
to attend the monthly HOA meeting to get any questions answered prior
to submission. If you need a copy of the deed restrictions, please email
copperbrookhoa@gmail.com and we will send you a copy.
Safety
Park and Pool Safety:
Parents please accompany all children to the park and pool for their
safety. The playground opens at sunrise and closes at sundown. Please
call 911 if you see any suspicious activity, persons or vehicles. This area
is monitored by surveillance cameras, however as homeowners, we need
to assist the police and play an active role in keeping our community safe!
Neighborhood Safety:
PLEASE lock your doors and remove all valuables so that there is little
temptation and hopefully nothing taken if they do break in your vehicle.
There have also been reports of crimes at the new park (Charles Austin
Park) and so we urge you to be aware of your surroundings at all times.
Please be alert to things such as unknown cars idling, circling the
neighborhood, increased traffic at a particular home and driving slowly
as if to stall for time. If you see this behavior, please call 911 and report
the suspicious activity. It would be helpful if you could provide any of the
following information to the 911 operator or sheriff’s department when
you call: description of the vehicle, person(s), time of day and/or license
plate number. Please be discrete and keep in mind safety is priority. Also,

if you notice a lot of traffic and multiple vehicles coming and going from a
location please call the sheriff’s office and inform them of the high traffic
volume of that location. It takes a community effort to keep a community
safe. The HOA is cooperating with the local law enforcement in keeping
this a safe community for our families.
Surveillance Cameras:
Surveillance cameras are installed at the pool house. The cameras are
positioned to monitor the pool areas, the park grounds and the parking
lot. HOA Board members have 24-hour access to view the ongoing
activities of these areas. All suspicious activities will be reported to the
Sheriff’s Office immediately.
Committee Information
If you’re thinking about getting more involved in our community, joining
a committee is a great start! Feel free to attend a monthly meeting to
learn more about these opportunities. The Copperbrook HOA is looking
for volunteers for the following committees:
EVENTS COMMITTEE:
The events committee oversees the newly organized welcoming
committee, which will be providing welcome baskets to new
homeowners. The event committee is also responsible for decorating the
monuments at Christmastime organizing the bi-annual garage sales and
hosting the neighborhood events such as National Night Out and Snow
Day at the Park.
NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH COMMITTEE:
The Copperbrook neighborhood watch committee NEEDS volunteers
who are willing to drive around at different time to help keep an eye on
things. The HOA would like to add more volunteers to provide greater
coverage throughout the 24 hour day. If you would like to volunteer,
please call Milton Turner at 281-859-6044. We could really use more
patrols from 10 PM to 6 AM. Volunteers can select their time and will be
requested to drive down each street and report any suspicious activity to
the police and to inform the neighborhood watch committee chair of any
activity observed. You will be issued a decal to place on your vehicle so as
to identify you as part of the Crime Watch if requested.
PARK AND YARD COMMITTEE:
The park and yard committee check the park and pool areas to report any
maintenance that needs to be done and also helps select the yard of the season.
If you have a great idea for a committee and would like to chair that
committee, we would love to hear from you. Our monthly meetings are
the first Tuesday of the month.

The Northwest Aquatics League is “a federation of teams organized to
foster competitive swimming and good sportsmanship.” Swimmers ages
3 to 18 residing in and around the Hearthstone community are eligible
to join the Hearthstone Heatwaves summer swim team. Registration
is open April 2 nd through May 3 rd . The league’s season begins May 5 th
and ends June 18 th . For more information or to register, please email

Student Transfer Forms for 2018-
2019 School Year Available April 2nd
The Board of Trustees approved a recommendation for 35 CFISD
campuses to be open for student transfers for the 2018-2019 school year
during its regularly scheduled meeting March 5 th , with students transfer
forms made available online and at the campuses beginning April 2 nd .
The following campuses were approved for a limited number of student
transfers for the 2018-2019 school year:
High School
Bridgeland (grades 9-11), Cypress Park (grades 9-11), Cy-Fair, Cypress
Ranch, Cypress Springs and Langham Creek.
Middle School
Campbell, Goodson, Hamilton, Hopper, Kahla, Labay and Truitt.
Elementary School
Adam, Andre’, Danish, Duryea, Frazier, Gleason, Hairgrove, Hoover
(grades PK-2), Jowell (grades 3-5), Kirk, Lamkin, Lee, Metcalf, Moore,
Pope, Postma, Rennell, Sampson, Tipps, Walker, Wells and Willbern.
A student who is currently enrolled and attending a CFISD campus may
apply for an Open Transfer Request for the 2018-2019 school year. The
Office of Admissions will accept transfer request from April 2 nd through
June 1 st .
Transfer requests will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. For
questions or assistance, please contact the Office of Student Services/

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School 7 th and 8 th grade students
competed in the annual St. Agnes Middle School Math Competition on
Saturday, February 24 th . 27 teams from 15 area Catholic schools solved
math and reasoning puzzles. There was also a building competition to
create a load bearing bridge over a 3-foot span! SEASCS Team A placed 5 th
in the activity competition: Emma Nguyen, Sani Jones, Dylan Sandrock,
Lucile Mauvoisin, Issa Baba and Toby Vu. SEASCS Team B placed 7 th in
the team competition and 6 th in the activity portion: Makynzie Kitzmann,
Chris Ngo, Kati Rzasnicki, Catherine Benavides, Anh Thy Nguyen and
Michael Staron. Lexie Robertson practiced and served as an alternate.
The combined team scores brought home the 2 nd place over all award!

Club Track Team Registration for
Middle and High School Athletes
The Northwest Flyers Track Club is now registering all middle and
high school athletes who wish to join for the 2018 season. The team is
celebrating its 31 st anniversary year and is a member of USA Track & Field.
A full program of “track” events such as sprints, hurdles, middle distance,
distance and relays and “field” events such as long jump, triple jump, high

All are Welcome at the Christ the Redeemer Spring Festival on April 28 th -

Redeemer Catholic Church will host its 33 rd Annual Spring Festival on
April 28 th -29 th . The event, a major fundraiser for the parish, provides the
community with fun and fellowship for the whole weekend.
On the CtR church grounds, the community and parishioners will enjoy
several big-top tents, a two-story obstacle course and lots of food.
Festival activities include the cake raffle, Bingo, Sweet Shop, Crafts, Flea
Market, Plant Booth, Coke Ring Toss and the very popular expanding
food court. For the kids, they have several inflatables to play on, confetti
egg games, face painting and marshmallow shooters. A big draw is the
great food in a large tent with tons of options including egg rolls, funnel
cakes, hot dogs, jambalaya, barbecue sandwiches or barbecue stuffed
potatoes, snocones, cotton candy and popcorn. The live and silent
auctions are also great fun for the community. Some auction items in the
past have included trips, patio furniture, iPads, a complete playground
installed in your yard, themed baskets and so much more! Don’t forget
the live music, clown and magic shows for this two-day extravaganza!
Make sure to mark your calendar for Saturday, April 28 th , 6-11 PM and
Sunday, April 29 th , 12-7 PM. Also, attendees are invited to stay connected

Shield Bearer Running for Hearts
5K Family Fun Run and Walk
The Shield Bearer Running for Hearts 5K Family Fun Run and Walk will
take place on April 7, 2018, 7-11 AM, at Windwood Church at 10555
Spring Cypress Road in Houston, Texas. This family friendly event will
feature a 5K timed, trail style run, a 1-mile family walk, games for the
kids, t-shirts, food, prizes and lots of fun for all ages. Race registration is
$25 for adults (ages 14 and up) and $10 for children (ages 13 and under)
before March 20, 2018. Registration, sponsorship, vendor, fundraising
and volunteer information is available at shieldbearer.org/5K.
Proceeds for the event will fund services and programs at Shield Bearer,
a Houston based 501c3 nonprofit counseling and community resource
center that provides services on a sliding scale. Shield Bearer has five
locations in Houston and serves individuals, couples and families
including those recovering from the trauma of human trafficking,

School - Shipwrecked - Rescued by Jesus, during the week of June
11 th -15 th ! VBS is a weeklong interactive time for kids to grow in their

Camp Cornerstone Is The Place To
Be This Summer for Ages 2 Through
Completion Of 4th Grade!
Camp Cornerstone is a week-long camp sponsored by Cornerstone United
Methodist Church and is for children ages 2 through the completion of 4 th
grade. Children must be 2 by June 1, 2018. Camp hours are 9:30 AM-1
PM. There are 3 sessions throughout the summer and you are invited to
participate in any or all!
Session I: “Totally Texas” is June 18 th -22 nd , Session II: “Artistic Creations”
is July 16 th -20 th , Session III: “Fairy Tale Adventures” is August 6 th -10 th .
The cost per camp per child is $120. You may pay $60 now and the
remaining $60 on the first day of camp. Registration forms are online
or in the preschool office. To download a form from the Cornerstone
website, go to www.cornerstoneumc.org and click on “preschool.” You
will see a tab for Camp Cornerstone. You can print the form and have it
filled out before you arrive, saving yourself time!
Before each camp session begins, you will hear from your child’s teacher
so you can learn more about the camp and she will answer any questions

backpack and a lunch as they enjoy each other and the special things
they will do during the week. We look forward to having your child at

CHILDREN’S CHOIR
The Children’s Choirs of Cornerstone United Methodist Church will be
presenting their musical “Treasure Island” on Sunday, April 15 th at the
10:45 AM service. Told with props, set and costumes, “Treasure Island”
tells the story of a group of kids who have just arrived on Treasure Island
and can’t wait to discover the treasure that’s in store for them. With the
guidance of Captain Fisher and a map, they start out on an adventure
seeking something more valuable than gold. Though Captain Fisher was
once a pirate searching for the riches of this world, he now seeks God’s
kingdom as a fisher of men. Captain Fisher teaches the kids that they

should always pursue godly wisdom and eternal riches. Join this musical
adventure as the children discover the everlasting value of storing up
treasures in heaven and continually seeking God.
YOUTH CHOIR
The Youth Choir of Cornerstone United Methodist Church will be
presenting their Spring musical “Christ in Every Season!” on Sunday,
April 29 th at the 10:45 AM service. The story of the Christian Faith is the
story of God’s love in His redemption of humankind. The most important
part of this story is the story of Jesus Christ. The Youth Choir will present
the life of Christ in song in “Christ in Every Season,” as it is told in the
various seasons of the Christian year. This includes Jesus’ birth, life,
teachings, miracles, suffering, death, resurrection and His giving of
the Holy Spirit. The Youth Choir will lead this worship event in singing
Anthems, African Songs, Praise Songs, Spirituals and Hymns.
THE FIVE LOVE LANGUAGES
Cornerstone United Methodist Church will be offering to the community
a study on Gary Chapman’s renown “The 5 Love Languages: The Secret to
Love That Lasts” starting on Tuesday, April 10 th at 7-8:15 PM. This study
reveals how different people express love in different ways and contains
the key to understanding each other’s unique needs. What speaks love
to you may be meaningless to your spouse. Apply the right principles,
learn the right language and soon you’ll know the profound satisfaction
and joy of being able to express your love and feel truly loved in return.
Each week the group will view a teaching by Dr. Chapman and have the
opportunity to discuss the principles taught both in the small group and
with your spouse. Singles are also welcome as there will be opportunity
to apply the teaching to relationships with children, parents and other
significant people in one’s life. Classes will last for 75 minutes and a
nursery for preschool children will be available by advanced reservation.
Each participant will need a small-group study book, which can be
purchased from the church. The cost is $10 per book.

Do you want your children to become lifelong servants of the Church?
Singing in a children’s choir is a great way to help that. The St. Elizabeth
Ann Seton Schola Cantorum is currently accepting children Grades 4-12
for its after-school choir program. The choir is responsible for enriching
the Mass on 10:30 on Sundays and rehearses every Wednesday from
3:45-5 PM. Unique in the area, the choir focuses on singing music from
the rich Catholic tradition, including chant and polyphony, as well as the
finest modern church music. Time is devoted to building the children’s
skills of music reading, vocal technique, thinking about the words and
the structure and meaning of the Mass. Service hours are available for

The St. Cuthbert Youth Group is a community of youth and adult
volunteers who encourage and support each other in life and in faith.
All students in grades six through twelve are welcome to be part of the
Youth Group, which offers a wide range of gatherings and events created
to provide a fun opportunity for learning and growth. The Youth Group
meets on Sundays from 4-6 PM for fun, Bible Study and fellowship and

April 14 th - It’s that time again! Don’t miss the Annual Art Car Parade. Downtown
Houston will come to life when more than 250 “motoriffic” mobile masterpieces
hit the pavement. The Houston Art Car Parade is a free BYOG (bring your own

Tips for April
Mulch - If possible, buy Bagged Mulch. Bagging helps eliminate
a great many pests that die from various causes while in the bag.
When you buy ‘loose’ mulch that is trucked to your home, you
are also buying ants, roaches, termites, etc… Spend a little more
on bagged material and save lots of future pest problems. Keep
your mulch at least 4” - 6” below the top of your homes exposed
foundation edge/side. This will aid in minimizing pests in your
home and allow for quick and accurate termite inspections.
Shrubs, Flowers and groundcovers - Trim all shrubs/plants at
least 12” - 18” back from your home. Do your best to create a plant
free zone that is 18” - 24” wide around your home. The exception
is your lawn - it can grow up next to the slab as long as you keep
it 4” - 6” below the top of the slab. The most conducive to termite
infestation are groundcover plantings, growing high against your
homes exterior or (especially) ivy that grows on your walls.
Trees - Spray your trees at least twice annually. The spring spray
eliminates overwintering pests and fungi while preparing trees to
resist the pest onslaught of summer with residual pesticides. The
fall spray also kills pests from the summer, prevents most fungi
from occurring over the winter and puts your valuable asset off to a
healthy winter’s dormancy.
Lawn - Spring is the perfect time to do a fungicide treatment to stop
brown patch in its tracks along with other fungi. If your lawn is thin
and weak in some areas, here are some important fundamentals: a)
lawn aeration b) fertilization c) weed control.
Most important is proper watering:
• Water once per week (unless you get a 1/2” rain or more - then do
not water.)
• Water heavily (1” - 2”) for total lawn coverage.
• In severe drought, water every 5 th day.
• Water from 5 AM to 7 AM in the morning - NOT AT NIGHT.
• A heavy deep weekly watering makes the turf grow deeper,
stronger and more drought resistant roots.
• Less watering also saves you money!!
IRS TAX DEADLINE
People have until Tuesday, April 17, 2018, to file their 2017 returns and
pay any taxes due. The filing tax deadline is later this year due to several
factors. The usual April 15 th deadline falls on Sunday this year, which
would normally give taxpayers until at least the following Monday.
However, Emancipation Day, a Washington, D.C., holiday, is observed
on Monday, April 16 th , giving taxpayers nationwide an additional day
to file. By law, Washington holidays impact tax deadlines for everyone in
the same way federal holidays do. Taxpayers requesting an extension will
have until Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, to file.
The IRS expects more than 70 percent of taxpayers to get tax refunds this
year. Last year, nearly 112 million refunds were issued, with an average
refund of $2,895.

Caramel Pecan Pie
You could make this on National Caramel Day April 5 th !
INGREDIENTS:
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
36 individually wrapped caramels, unwrapped
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C.) In a saucepan over low heat, combine
caramels, butter and milk. Cook, stirring frequently, until smooth. Remove from heat and
set aside.
In a large bowl, combine sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt. Gradually mix in the melted caramel
mixture. Stir in pecans. Pour filling into unbaked pie crust.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until pastry is golden brown. Allow to
cool until filling is firm.

Bacon Ranch Cheese Ball

INGREDIENTS:
6 slices bacon
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 (1 ounce) package buttermilk Ranch dressing mix
1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
4 green onions, chopped
3 tablespoons chopped black olives
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
Place the bacon in a large, deep skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning
occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain the bacon slices on a paper
towel-lined plate. Chop the cooled bacon into small pieces.
Stir together the cream cheese and ranch dressing mix in a bowl until smooth. Add the
bacon, cheddar cheese, green onions and olives, stir until well combined. Shape the
mixture into a ball and roll in the chopped pecans. Refrigerate overnight.
