Refunds:<br />

Refund for <strong>Summer</strong> One and Regular<br />

<strong>Summer</strong> Session<br />

<strong>Summer</strong> One (the first 6-week session)<br />

and Regular <strong>Summer</strong> Session (the 12-week<br />

session) will begin on May 26, <strong>2018</strong>. Students<br />

dropping a course before 11:59pm on May 25<br />

in either of those sessions will receive a full<br />

refund (less a $10 processing fee). There will<br />

be a 75% refund for dropping a course during<br />

the first week, May 26 - Jun 1. There will be<br />

a 50% refund for dropping a course during<br />

the second week, June 2-8. Beginning June<br />

10, <strong>2018</strong>, there will be no refund for <strong>Summer</strong><br />

One (the first 6-week session) or the Regular<br />

<strong>Summer</strong> Session (the 12-week session).<br />

Note: Regardless of when a course starts<br />

within <strong>Summer</strong> One or Regular <strong>Summer</strong><br />

Session, no refund will be granted after<br />

11:59 pm on June 8, <strong>2018</strong>.<br />

Note: Credit card convenience fees are not<br />

refundable.<br />

Refund for <strong>Summer</strong> Two<br />

<strong>Summer</strong> Two (the second term, which is a<br />

6-week term) will begin on July 7, <strong>2018</strong>.<br />

Students dropping a course in <strong>Summer</strong><br />

Two will receive a full refund (less a $10<br />

processing fee) before 11:59pm on July 6.<br />

There will be a 75% refund for dropping<br />

a course during the first week, July 7-13.<br />

There will be a 50% refund for dropping a<br />

course during the second week, July 14-20.<br />

Beginning July 22, <strong>2018</strong>, there will be no<br />

refund for <strong>Summer</strong> Two (the second term,<br />

which is a 5-week term).<br />

Note: Regardless of when a course starts<br />

within <strong>Summer</strong> Two, no refund will be granted<br />

after 11:59pm on July 21, <strong>2018</strong>.<br />

Note: Credit card convenience fees are no<br />

refundable.<br />

Class Cancellations<br />

If the University cancels a class, all the<br />

students enrolled in that class will get an<br />

automatic refund for the full campus fees and<br />

the full tuition fees.<br />

Transcripts<br />

Transcripts may be ordered online, by phone,<br />

or by mail. Expedited requests may also be<br />

made in person. Details are available at<br />

http://www.csudh.edu/records-registration/<br />

records/request-transcript. The fee for<br />

transcripts is $4, payable at the Cashier’s<br />

Office. <strong>CSUDH</strong> Records & Registration keeps<br />

track of your degree applicable credits and<br />

records them in your student file.<br />

Grade Reports<br />

Official transcripts with current grades will be<br />

available approximately five weeks after the end<br />

of the course. To learn your grade for any graded<br />

class, including Extension, Special <strong>Sessions</strong>,<br />

<strong>Summer</strong> <strong>Sessions</strong> and Winter Session, please<br />

access My<strong>CSUDH</strong>: http://my.csudh.edu, or go<br />

to http://www.csudh.edu From the QUICKLINKS<br />

pull-down menu, select My<strong>CSUDH</strong>.<br />

Changes From <strong>Bulletin</strong><br />

The University reserves the right to make<br />

changes in the class schedule as printed.<br />

When classes are split or sections are<br />

cancelled, it may be necessary to assign an<br />

instructor different from the one listed in the<br />

class schedule.<br />

Credit/No Credit Option<br />

(Undergraduate Students Only)<br />

Undergraduate students selecting the Credit/<br />

No Credit option must do so by the end of the<br />

third week of instruction. Credit/No Credit<br />

forms are available from the Extension Office,<br />

the Office of Records & Registration, and<br />

Information and Service Center, and must<br />

be submitted by the deadline. For additional<br />

conditions or limitations of the Credit/No<br />

Credit option, consult the current <strong>CSUDH</strong><br />

catalog at:<br />

Season for a Change!<br />

ADD or DROP Classes<br />

1. Complete the ADD/DROP information on<br />

the Change of Program form, available<br />

from the College of Extended &<br />

International Education Registration<br />

Office EE 1100, in the Extended<br />

Education Complex. Use the schedule<br />

number (5 numbers), department name<br />

(3 letters), course number (3 numbers)<br />

and section number (2 numbers).<br />

2. If adding, have the instructor sign the<br />

form.<br />

3. If dropping, enter the information in the<br />

DROP position of the card. Instructor’s<br />

signature is not required before end of<br />

first week of class.<br />

4. Return the Change of Program form to<br />

the Extended Education Office.<br />

5. Present your receipt and I.D. card.<br />

6. Conditions for dropping a course after<br />

the third week are outlined in the current<br />

<strong>CSUDH</strong> Catalog.<br />

A student who enrolls in a course, discontinues<br />

attendance, and does not officially drop the<br />

course will automatically receive a “WU” (calculated<br />

as “F” in G.P.A.) or “F” grade for the<br />

course, which is permanently recorded. Students<br />

are responsible for submitting completed drop or<br />

withdrawal forms to the designated offices.<br />
