Villa Chardonnay Horses With Wings, Inc.
2017 was a year of big projects, large challenges and major accomplishments
but a great year for all the 300+ permanent residents of Villa Chardonnay. For
three years we were fundraising to build a cattery to house over 90 cats that have
physical disadvantages, are elderly and unwanted but had the second chance to be
saved and live their last years in love, comfort and care at Villa. Thanks to the
grant that Villa Chardonnay was awarded during October of 2017 from HOME DE-
POT, THE ARK ANTIQUES FOUNDATION, RITA HSIE and ELENE M. KUNKEL
we were able to build their forever home on a 2,600 sq ft cattery that cost over 20K
with spacious indoor and outdoor spaces, amenities, TV, shelves, beds, swings,
games and most importantly a place to call home with love and care to give them a
happy and secure environment, a place to call a forever home. Spending time with
them is the most incredible experience, seeing them play, seeing them eat, sleeping,
running, enjoying the sun in the outdoor cattery after being rescued from being
killed it’s a very fulfilling and indescribable . We invite you to visit the new home of
these magic creatures.

time and will be put down.

Jaki & Monet
Jaki & Monet - Jaki, an orphan from the roundups
in Nevada came to VC on a cold rainy day in the
middle of the winter and gave birth to a beautiful filly
that we named “Monet”. Both are living together forever
at Villa Chardonnay and never will be separated.
