Ryan Berry- CEO and President
TSD Logistics Inc., a leading provider of transportation solutions
for the tire and rubber industry for the last 35 years, announced
on January 15, 2018, that its Board of Directors has unanimously
chosen Ryan Berry as the organization’s next President and
Chief Executive Officer. Berry, who previously served as TSD's
Chief Operating Officer, will succeed Robert Muir as CEO.
Berry is responsible for the overall management of TSD
operations, including the accounting, human resources, sales
effort, and safety departments. He will also be supervising TSD's
risk management function and banking relationships.
Berry's initial focus will be on maintaining a positive corporate
culture while expanding all supporting services for TSD's
growing fleet.
"I'm honored, and I'm grateful to our Board and Chairman for
the opportunity to lead this exceptional organization of
dedicated and talented professionals," said Berry. "We will
continue our commitment to our core values while focusing on
expanding our service offering through technology-driven
efficiencies and strategic growth. I am especially proud of the
way our public service initiatives impact the world far beyond
where we live and work. This is a unique opportunity at an
extraordinary transportation company."
In his 10 years at TSD, Berry has progressed in various
leadership roles. As CEO, he will also assume a Director's
position on TSD Board.

In 2016, John Lindsey completed a quarter of a century of Chaplin and
Chaplin leadership services. He began with Marketplace Ministries on June
1, 1991. Lindsey had begun a church, Living Vine Baptist Church in
DeQueen, Arkansas, where he was a pastor when a man named Don Smith
visited him at church one Sunday. Smith told him about the need for a
Chaplin down the road at the Pilgrim's Pride Plant.
A few days later, Lindsey was Chaplin and a pastor, serving in both
capacities for the next eight years. It was then that Lindsey began his tour
of duty with Marketplace, moving to Amarillo to be the West Texas Division
Director. After two years there, he was off to Virginia where he was the
Division Director for the Virginia, West Virginia, and Kentucky Divisions. In
2007, the ministry moved him back to Arkansas where he was the Division
Director for Arkansas and Louisiana.
Lindsey has probably moved more often and to more places, than any other
Marketplace employee. In each new location, he saw meaningful ministry
and God's hand at work. Today he is an Area Team Leader for Arkansas and
Northern Louisiana.
Lindsey has been with TSD for over a decade.
TSD gratefully acknowledges how blessed and honored is to have John
Lindsey as our Chaplin.
Trucker's Chapel of Texarkana

We are a Chapel in the Texarkana area reaching out to drivers, families,
and anyone who would like to learn about the word of Jesus.
Chaplains provide Sunday church services in the chapels and
are available through the week to minister to the drivers' needs.
The Chapel also offers resources such as a network list of churches and
food pantries all over the country.
Trucker’s Chapel is sponsored by
Southwest Baptist and Bowie Baptist associations.

CVSA will focus on hours-of-service compliance. During the International Roadcheck,
inspectors will primarily conduct Level 1 Inspections, a 37-step procedure that
includes an examination of both drivers operating requirements and vehicle
mechanical fitness.

During the weeklong blitz, enforcers will be focusing on traffic violations, seat belt
enforcement, driver roadside inspections and driver regulatory compliance.
Driving behaviors that will be targeted during the week include speeding, distracted
driving, texting, failure to use a seat belt, following too closely, improper lane change,
failure to obey traffic control devices and more.

Recognize an Employee

Every day someone in our company goes the extra mile for us, goes above and
beyond their normal job description and often it is either overlooked or not
recognized. Our program is open to every person in the company. Anyone in the
company can nominate another employee of TSD. The program has 3 tiers.
Above and Beyond Award
The 1st tier is the AAB Award. When a coworker goes out of their way to provide
us with exceptional service, you can nominate them for an AAB Award. This will
be a short form that you fill out explaining what the employee did and it will be
turned in to the Culture Committee. This program is a way to show that we value
our coworkers and appreciate the extra effort.
Wendle Award
The 2nd tier would be named after our beloved long time employee Wendle
Harrell. The Wendle award is given to an associate who receives an unsolicited
compliment from outside of TSD. When someone outside of TSD calls in to brag
on a driver or office staff, a short form would be filled out and submitted to the
Culture Committee, then read aloud at company meetings
Action Plan“A Chance to Identify Opportunities Now.”
The ACTION process is a way for TSD employees to identify an opportunity to
be taken advantage of. An employee will fill out a form with his or her idea. Once
filled out the form will be assigned to a department leader to research, identify a
resolution, put into place and follow up with the submitter. If the idea is found
not to work, the submitter would be notified.

TSD no longer has an Employee of the Quarter
(EOQ) or Driver of the month (DOM).
In place of the EOQ and DOM, we will have
Office Employee of the Year (EOY) and Driver
