HARMONY SCHOOL OF INNOVATION
Two Harmony School of Innovation Katy Students are National Merit
Finalists, Morgan Long and Tanner Scott. Of the 1.6 million entrants, some
50,000 with the highest PSAT/NMSQT® Selection Index scores qualify for
recognition in the National Merit® Scholarship Program. In September
2017, these high scorers qualified as either a Commended Student
(approx. 34,000) or Semifinalist (approx. 16,000). Finalists were selected
in February 2018. From the list of finalists, winners of the National Merit
Scholarship awards from the program, sponsored corporations and
participating colleges will be announced between April and June 2018.
Tanner Scott wants to study biology and pre-med. For years, he dreamt of
attending Stanford. He received his acceptance letter from Stanford and
without hesitation committed to join the distinguished class of 2022 this
coming fall.
Morgan Long is interested in studying physics and applied to 14
universities. The acceptance letters are coming in now. His top choices are
