social order that governs here;
Believing every word told onto them —
About what they can and cannot do;
What they can become —
Despite where they come from!
Because, for them, there is No Cause worth dying for;
No country held captive by this one or that to fight for;
No injustice unjustly persecuting — No one to protest for!
For, as far as they believe, They Believe
They are as “American” as Americans are unconcerned,
Misinformed about the vast wasteland of their Imperial Empire
Where no one citizen can use a piece of toilet tissue
to wipe their butts without oppressing someone, somewhere
in this world.
Left blindly wondering what they should think,
Independently and otherwise,
Than the facts disguised before their eyes,
focused on the thin, obscured consumer line
that moves ever further & further away
from the plainness of Truth
, blurred
& as elusive as the sands of time
That, in time, becomes
The writing on the wall,
that you convince yourself to believe . . .
While the more you look around you
the less Freedom you have to throw away!
