TESTIMONIES
GOD’S TIME IS ALWAYS THE BEST
This is to glorify the name of the Lord for giving us
another baby girl. During the pregnancy we went
for our scan and we were given an Estimate Delivery
Date (EDD). Five weeks before the EDD I went
into labour. We were worried and had to rush to the
hospital. The doctor said the baby was preterm but
to God be the glory the baby was delivered perfectly
on the third day. God’s time is always the best. Man
can only predict or try.
THE LORD IS OUR DELIVERER
I thank God and testify that He alone can save like
He does!! My Husband was able to return home
safe.
The Lagos state government ordered clean-up at
the Abbatoir as a lot of the people who bring
cattle there to sell had started building shanties
in the area and also selling drugs.
A riot ensued whilst my husband was there. God
delivered my husband from a deadly mob. His
car was thoroughly vandalised but he was able to
escape alive and unhurt.
Our God in KICC was present with my husband
and gave him uncommon rest and progress. He is
still on the throne for us all.
THE LORD IS MY SHIELD
I could have lost my unborn child or even gone
mad when I heard the news of my late husband’s
death but God strengthened me and gave me a
new heart to go through the bereavement and
childbirth.
I could have been made homeless with my children
but God gave me a house fully paid.
In February 2013, I put in an application to renew
my visa because I was on my late husband’s one
but my application was refused and we were asked
to go back home. I appealed. Again it was refused.
In 2016 I applied for my indefinite leave to remain
and by His grace it was granted. However, my
children were asked to go back home even though
they were born in the United Kingdom. I kept
holding onto the word in Isaiah 43:1 - 3 that ‘He
would shield and protect us wherever we are’ .
During The River event in January, I applied for
naturalisation. The Home Office stated that it
would take a maximum of 6 months so, I kept
praying for the application to be granted and
arrive early. By His special grace naturalisation
was granted to all of us exactly one month after I
submitted the application.
I want to let you know whatever you’re going
through be encouraged just like Joseph your pain,
toil and disappointments are to get you to your
dreams. Hold on to God’s Word and He will see you
through. Thank you Jesus.
JEHOVAH RAPHA
Last year my 3 year old daughter was diagnosed
with bone cancer and a gallstone in her stomach.
This led to her having tests, MRI scans, x-rays and
a biopsy. My daughter was transferred to and from
various hospitals before finally being transferred to
Great Ormond Street Childrens Hospital.
Today, I testify that God has healed my
daughter. The bone cancer and the gallstone in
her stomach have completely disappeared. This
is completely the LORD’s doing and I give Him all
the glory.
GOD IS FAITHFUL
I am testifying to the faithfulness of God’s divine
healing: Last year I visited my optician for my
normal two year routine check-up. The optician
informed me that he saw the early development
of cataracts on eyes. They took no action but
said “they would decide what to do when I come
back in two years time. I immediately rejected
his words and told him that it would be gone by
the time I return. By the look on his face I
perceived I sounded strange.
At The River, Pastor Matthew called those who had
recently been diagnosed of early development of
cataracts to come to the altar. I went forward and
Pastor Matthew prayed for us. Sometime later I
had an urge to go and get my eyes checked. The
week I decided to go I received a voucher for a free
eye check-up. What an amazing God we serve.
The optician thoroughly tested my eyes and
announced that she did not see cataracts!
Hallelujah. All glory to our Jehovah Rapha, The
Great Physician, the I AM that I AM!
I thank God for His prophet, Pastor Matthew. I
prayer that the power of God on his life will not
depart and that God will keep him and his family,
in Jesus name! Hallelujah to Jesus Christ our Lord.
