BEYOND THE VERSE
LOVE
Farsighted...I realize a vision,
My ideal lover agrees;
Holding onto our breathing rhythms,
A vow is made.
A vow of togetherness,
Gazing amidst the stars,
Seeking the divine north star,
A beyond horizon beckoning.
A horizon, a journey, a path;
Laying in cosmic gravity,
You, me now Us together,
Shall travel the wonder.
A wonder of enrichment,
A blossom of nourishment,
As in Us we dwell now,
Reaching onto the stars,
In real,
We imprint our footsteps.
Footsteps in plural,
United in hearts,
Committed in solidarity,
A vision witnessed.
