Al Amin will be holding a Bar-B-Q Cook-Off on June 1st and 2nd. We hope that<br />
all Texas Shrine Temples and Units will enter this IBCA Sanctioned BBQ Cook-<br />
Off. It will be held in Lagarto, Texas on the west side of Lake Mathis (Lake<br />
Corpus Christi) at the 534 River Bend Club. This will be a Fraternal Event<br />
Fundraiser Cook-Off and all proceeds will remain with Al Amin. All Shrine<br />
Temples are invited to participate in this event and it will be also open to the<br />
public.<br />
Children's Easter Party<br />
The annual Disadvantaged/Disabled Children's Easter Party was held on March 18. There was an egg hunt,<br />
clowns, face painting, caricature drawing, and a special appearance by the Easter Bunny! Thanks to all the<br />
volunteers who helped make the event a success and put smiles on the faces of our area children.<br />
