FESTIVAL HEADLINERS<br />
HAZEL<br />
Born and raised in the Capital District, Hazel is an active member of the LBGT<br />
community. She is musically inspired by all genres, and has been writing her own<br />
lyrics since 12 years of age. Hazel likes to write songs about real and current life<br />
struggles, “I am not scared to write songs on subjects that some fear to speak about.”<br />
JUJU & THE REVOLUTIONS<br />
Juju & the Revolutions are two local, loyal performers with a passion for<br />
entertaining LGBT POC Communities. As Juju states, “To us, this is what we<br />
live and breathe. Being Black and Gay and having a day to celebrate by<br />
performing to other Gay individuals is more than we can ask for, and<br />
we thank In Our Own Voices for giving us this special opportunity.”<br />
PAOLA J. GONZALEZ (PJ)<br />
PJ is a transgender woman, born and raised in Puerto Rico. She moved to the Capital<br />
District in 2004 and since 2005 has been involved in community theatre. She is a<br />
local actress, fight choreographer, juggler, whip artist and professional wrestler.<br />
Paola began doing her whip act in 2010. She has performed her act in various<br />
venues, including NYC.<br />
BRIELLE<br />
Brielle is a 1 st generation, and proud Arab-American and Muslim LGBTQ<br />
Community Advocate who utilizes her any talents as a TransCare Peer Advocate at<br />
In Our Own Voices. She’s very excited to showcase her comedy and performance<br />
skills at this year’s Say It Loud! Black & Latin@ Gay Pride Celebration!
