Hitting the road
Runners-up: Tinley Park residents get in
spirit of 2018 Vacation Photo Contest
Sue Patzkowsky submitted this photo from a road trip to
Glacier National Park in Montana. “It was part of a 4,200
mile two week adventure across the country to hit our 48th
and 49th state,” she wrote.
Rachael Stob submitted this photo from her family first trip to Michigan’s sand dunes. Despite a dune buggie flat tire
stranding them for 20 minutes, she wrote the family had a blast. PHOTOS SUBMITTED
Retired Tinley Park Police Department Sgt. Ray Lloyd
submitted this photo of Trinity Espiscopal Church in
Boston. “The Rector from 1747 to 1767 was William Hooper,
the father of William Henry Hooper, one of the original
signers of the Declaration Of Independence. He is my wife’s
great-great-great Grandfather,” he wrote.
ABOVE: Lucy Teneyuque submitted this photo of herself along with
her sister and niece standing in the North Window at Arches National
Park in Utah. “It was like being on another planet. A trip we will never
forget,” she wrote.
LEFT: Sandburg teacher Brian Ostrander submitted this photo of his
family in LaJolla, California. “Who knew that a giant hole in the Earth
would be so beautiful,” he wrote.
